a very fun weekend.... =]

this is a super duper busy weekend for me.. =] i have 'overseen' *is this correct har?? i mean oversee - oversought - overseen, right? =p* that it's gona be a very busy week, so that i didnt bring my laptop home this weekend.. yay!! no point of bringing that piece of large stone home anyway O_O;



Well.. the weekend started with me having the symptoms of flu in the morning... my colleague was saying 'u sick ah? u sound like duck..' geez.. thx man... XD ... but no lah.. he ended with 'drink alot of water... warm water..' XD thx ah.. =] afterwards, I had a big lunch with the indo colleagues on friday... with really really really superb food! u guys should try it if you are somehow somewhere in boatquay and you have a sometime to enjoy good food.. really good food, i mean..



It's padang food.. and my GOSH! the range of food.. ayam opor, ayam rendang, ayam bumbu balado.. n ofcourse, the typical ayam goreng XD... but i mean,,... if you go to other places, they usually only have one type of rendang.. mutton/beef... n very seldom u can get ayam rendang in singapore, am i wrong?



well anyway, it was a very filling lunch.. and since we had congii, he was the "heboh" one about the "npwp" issue, which i could not care less when i first read about it a few weeks ago =p...



Afterward, I was pretty tired.. n i tot it's super not funny if i fall sick on weekend.. somemore, i've arrange EVENTS for THIS particular weekends... if i fall sick.... geez.... it's gona be darn bad.. but but but but but one colleague fren offered to drive us to KBRI =p hihi.. so yup, i went there =p n it's been sometime since i went to KBRI =].. there were SOOOOO many people there... and the atmosphere was.... erhm... shall we just say 'very different' than the INDOKUSTIK final last year? haha.. i mean.. given the same amount of crowd, the friday's talk was super formal....!!



They started with a formal intro of the current economic situation in the world, in indo... and eventually, it brought our attention to the new taxing system.... geez.. i just hope that the govt come to their senses.... please lah!!! how can we be in the range of 'orang kaya' juz becos our annual salary is larger than 200mil rupiah.......???!! we're living as 'pas-pas-an' here leh!! wadahel! especially now that rupiah is super weak against sing dollar..! ofcourse we're earning MORE THAN 200MIL A YEAR!!! use ur brainnn use ur brainnnnn!!!....



Well.. im nt quite sure wad they're planning.. but we can just hope lorr... hope for the best.... sigh... worse come to worse, change citizenship lorrrrrrr.. but well.. let's not assume too fast.. k?! let's pray for the best first..



saturday, we had our computer engin's alumni event at singapore flyer... yea!!!!!!!! heuheuheuheueh!!! it started off pretty bad, because the sky was too dark.... and by the time we took our river cruise at 6, it was raining........ SAD LAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,...........!!!!



but but but but but, the sun started to shine again when we reached the singapore flyer... the bandung cliques were already losing their minds... XD going here n there to take pics.. *fun pics, btw!*.... n in the end, we were left behind =.=; i mean... i thought, since this is ALUMNI EVENT.. we should be in the same capsules... enjoying the ride together, catching up.. or wadsoever crap.. but then... apparently everyone took their own capsules at different timing somehow... oh well..



The sun was already setting when we took the capsule.. but it was still hm.. how do i say.. u can still see the leftover of the sunrays.... so it wasnt so dark... n again, inside, the bandung clique was super busy taking pics here n there... n well.. it was super noisy XD XD XD XD XD paiseh... we're even louder than the kids inside.. woopz..



An advice....if you are taking the flyer, take at night... WHEN THE SKY IS CLEAR.. n it wasnt raining on the day... it's really pretty to see singapore at night.. =] but a pity, since it was raining a few hours before our ride, the capsules still had the rain drops!!!! n thus... we see alot of rain drops at the pics we took.... geeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz =.= =.= =.= =.= =.= =.=;;



The highlight of the night *for me* is the dinner.. =p hihi... it was a 7 course dinner at the seafood paradise.... YUMMY!!! really really yummy.. especially the creamy crab... omigosh im salivating just by thinking about it XD.... it's seriously worth the $$.... thx NTU... love ya.... please organize more alumni events XD...



PS: It actually felt weird when i got the email =p ALUMNI... woooo im alumni bhow!!! XD



Was sitting with the indo crowd... *all from my batch*.. hehee.. time to catch up!! XD XD XD ... I got to know a few juicy gossips about erhm... people... =p n it was nice, because we dont have to worry about who shoudl take the food first.. or how to eat properly... n stuff like that =p



At the end of the dinner, there's a coordinator asking for our namecards... hihi.. i think they'll get a shock when they know that one of their graduates work as auditor XD oh ya man.. the time when i took my seat, the whole table was saying 'the bloody auditor' to me.. wadahel!! XD XD XD



sunday!!! went to church in the morning as promised.. huehuee.... n an agent cancelled our viewing.. geez!! so we had to find new units again =.=;... but the good thing is, i can go to the anime festival earlier ^.^v



I was already pretty 'wild' when i went up the escalator.. looking at sooo many people cosplaying!! the last time i went to cosplay was.... a few years ago? at youth park??? XD n it was microscale *miniscale lah* compared to this one!!



Met nana and she told me that she had to interview people for her schoolwork.. i guess it's her final year project.. the japanese streetwear...... so she would disappear for like 20mins.. and suddenly reappear by my side... XD...



It was super packed around the cosplay competition stage... n when we finally could shift to the left a little, there's this group of cosplayers taking their stand beside nana.. the last person to stand was directly beside her.... n..... GANTENK!!!!! XD XD XD XD XD n nana was like 'dir dir dir.... gintama...!!' n dira was looking sooooo envious XD... well i dun care gintama or wad nots.... pokoke cowoqnya gantenk... not the pretty boy kind hor... XD pokoqke macho gt d... =p n well.. nana could not bring herself to request for a pic together =[



Eniweiz.. the competition was a bit dry lagh.............!!!!!!!!! n the only anime that i know in the competition was ultraman... sad right!!! n nana was like 'ini coldgeese'..... n 'ini blablabla' n 'klu loe ga ikutin anime tuw u will feel old..' WADA!!!! XD.... ok.. i like the ultraman one *the heaviest determining factor is BECOZ it's the only anime i know =p*...



But i think im starting to consider these few animes:
1. *as expected*, GINTAMA =p
2. coldgeese, because i realise there are sooo many coldgeese cosplayers
3. bleach (hm.. the reason come later =p)



Finally i had a chance to walk around... met tony, harry, delia n sbass... went to sight-see the cosplayers... harry was already like 'aheuaheuaheu... mau fotoin donk ama si x.... ama si xx.... ama si xxx.... aheuaheuaheu.. bagusss' XD



But then... GADA CO COSPLAYER YG GANTENK!!! wahlewww... HOW CANNNNN!!!! T.T T.T T.T ... n well.. u know wad? i learnt something from the cosplay event today..... IM OLD... sad to say.. im OLD........!!! haha!! those people i saw was like secondary schoolers??!!! ohmannnn.... eniweiz.. i was happy when i saw a few anime from my time.. =p KAMEN RAIDER XD... haha..



that's the only cosplayer from my time =p



The highlight of this cosplay event *for me* is the display of figurines on this super big shelves.... i saw dragon ball figurines, gundam... n even mickeymouse haha! outofplacelahyou!!! there's this dedicated shelves showing power rangers..... and..... SAINT SEIYA.... omigosh omigosh omigoooossshhhhh XD XD XD XD XD XD XD i was seriously jumping for joy!!!!



u know.. i think if i dig my 'toys' in indo, i'll still find shiryu's figurine XD XD... but no.. the ones displayed were different level of 'toys' lor!! they're gleaming... gyaaaa shiryuuu seiiyyaaaa hyyooogggaaaaaa ikkkiiiiiii T.T u guys are the best bhow!! and the their 'jubah' really fits them well.... they have the figurines for the 5 silver saints... and the 12 gold saints..... aint it amazinggggggg??!!!!!



They have seiya as a normal human, with his typical red top and jeans... carrying the big box *for his jubah*... they even have the box opened up.. showing the 'jubah' as how it should be *pegasus lookalike for seiya, and sagittarius for well... pendekar sagittarius XD'.. n of course, figurines for all the saints IN their respective 'jubah'... please pardon my english.. i watched seiya when i was young.. i only know 'jubah perak', 'jubah emas' and 'pendekar jubah emas'.. duno how to translate it to english lah!... jubah = robe? XD suit? XD



What's even more amazing, they even have the figurines for the enemies from hades... i dun remember their names =p hihi.. but eniweiz, i got ko tata to take the pics for me with his cool SLR huehuehuehuee....



Thennn... wad else ah?! oh.. ya.. bleach! haha.. aiyaaa.. u know lahhhhh XD the guy is cool wakaka!!! as in he was doing an ichigo 'skit'.. with all the hand movement.. n i think it was cool.. hehee... harry took pic with him lah.. but i didnt... =p anyway.. i duno how he looks like lah.. he was wearing a mask.. but well.. it triggers me to watch bleach.. mwaahhaha!!



geez... i was talking about nodame.... maybe i should cosplay as nodame... it's pretty easy.. and you wont get many stares when you are going home taking the mrt =p... when we went out,... there's masumi... nodame... taking picture with CHIAKI!!! XD XD XD XD



They're very fun to watch... Chiaki was at the center, nodame was leaning on "his" shoulder, looking happy... while masumi was at the otherside..... complete with the moustache okay!! XD super cute!!!!!!!!!



Then.. Chiaki left... and Masumi n nodame do the pose that they're fighting for chiaki.. XD u know.. heads together... eyes rolled up.... XD kawaiiiiiiiii love them love them love them!!!



K lah.. i think that was the end of the cosplay *sad to say..* n i just realized that we didnt sit down for hours!!.... time to wait for the NTU crowdd... yeaaaaa



We ate dinner at balithai... the chilly is nice siaaaaa..... XD it's a good time to catch up with them all.. the right crowd, the right numbers... right food... nice =] ehehe.. just that we should have been more honest with the 'stories' mwahahahahahahaa.... nevermind... there are always other times.. haha..



It's true that when you have a bigger crowd, it's hard to handle.. and well... some people joined not because they want to enjoy the event u see... so.. in the end... there'll be 2 extremes... one is THOROUGHLY enjoying the event and the other extreme is 'why the hell am I here' kinds... geezz............ =p



Anyway.. it's been a very very satisfying weekend =] super tired..... but.. super fun =]
