work related... XD

Okiez.. im in a super high mood today.. i went to sleep way to early last night and i was hoping i could wake up early today.. so i did!! i had some things to prepare before going to work today.. i have two last interview for this clients.. n im determined to ask everything and everything..



Well.. sometimes waking up earlier could do wonder... =p i was really energized by the time i walked out of the house... =]



Interviews.. well.. i guess im still not experienced enough to 'trap' the clients =p hahaa.. but thx to my senior who always be on my side to help me to ask questions and finally trapping the clients.. n leaving them speechless.. n resigned to their fate... 'ok lor.. 1 more audit point for me...' kind of fate...



Then.. after the interviews, i need to collect evidences.... n u know.. sometimes they really purposely give you loadza evidences to confuse you... *damn*.... but we are trained not to look at the evidences first... we COUNT the population size given... and take random samples... but being human..., we tend to be bias.. XD looking at the evidence with brighter coloured pen... with bigger fonts.. *or sometimes evidence with fault XD*..... so, our company ensures that we will take RANDOM samples by having this tool, which basically (i think lah) a simple programming .random()



So, i was looking at this set of evidence.. n i was like saying to my senior 'wah.. this one.. they do their filing properly since february!'.. n she was like.. 'oh ok... eh.. !! letz try our *company's* tool..'.. she said that she has never used the tool before also =p... so then after putting so many 'requirements', we finally generate.....



N the tool output '6'... so, we said 'ok.. lets see june...' XD.. i mean it's up to you to interpret the number lah.. u can select the 6th paper from the stack also.. it's still random wad... n u know wad? XD



The random tool is damn good... XD... the client DIDNT HAVE document for the month of june!!.. mwahahahaha... we were like 'wah.. the tool so powerful one ah!!'.... but a few seconds afterward, me n my senior looked at each other... n we're like.. 'so? fail them ah?' XD.... i mean.. it's kinda hard to be auditors also leh.. i mean... too bad that they dont have the specific document that we are asking (the tool is asking)... but looking from the client's point of view, 'from that many samples in the stack.. Y CHOOSE 6?' u know wad i mean? XD.... n well... because of the previous issues with the client, we ended up 'regenerate' the random number n let them passed =p



But i had to be the mean guy lah.. i went back to them to return the samples... n was like kinda 'where is the document for june? i cannot find it leh!'.... n they're like 'oh.. erhm.. its... have... erhm.. where ah? where i put ah?'... *dzikkkkkkkk! i dont care where u put it! but dont make my life difficult because it'll make ur life difficult too!* XD...



so ya.. its interesting to be auditor =p whenever one person try to make up a story, my senior will say 'ok... natalia u check xxx see if it gels'... trying to be sherlock holmes =p



Anyway.. another funny thing was that when i was checking another set of samples, they have marlin's company's logo XD.... n true enough, my client engages marlin's company for maintenance.. n the iritating thing is that they have very weird equipment serial numbers.. n the name like harry potter's spell.... oh well.. i googled.. n nothing came up.. so.. i tot marlin's intranet would HAVE a better explanation of the things i was staring at..... n i asked her to check the equipment.. n she was like duno wad im toking about.. XD n insisted that she only deals with VALVE..... please lah.. i dun even know wad valves are for.. O_o haha.. n how they fit in the data center XD...wadever that is, i managed to find out what those equipment are =p haha..



ok.. i want to work for... 1 hour? n then have an early good night sleep...... =]
