normal life..

a very normal day... woke up.. lazed around... and finally managed to get my head off the pillow... took a very leisurely bath.. until I heard Rina's voice outside *it's amazing how kiki's voice is always unheard... maybe he speaks in a frequency lower than what human can hear.. XD*... anyway.. I went to the client today mah... =p so.. could take cab... so... could wake up later... hoho!!



Everything went *quite smoothly*... got cab... n the traffic was smooth.... reached my client's place.., got off... and headed to the designated room...... took out my necessary stuff.. and headed out to meet the client... went back to the room because i forgot to bring the pass...



Yes.. speaking of which.. where the hell is the pass O_o i remembered holding it when i was reaching the client's place.... geez..



Ransacked the whole laptop bag... couldnt find it... called the taxi lost and found.. and fortunately, since i collect the receipt, i got to know the taxi's number...... unfortunately, the operator could not get in touch with the taxi driver.... :(



Went to call my client to pick me up from the 'reception area' XD... n well.. usually.. when i forgot to bring my pass, she'll just pick me up.. n today.. she asked 'wheres the pass'.. wahlew.. i told her i lost it... :S and she was like 'huh?! wah... later theyll chase after me leh'.... huixx..... see lah...... i scared already O_o'



I told her i told the lost and found already... n she was like 'ok.. then.. lets just get to work while waiting..'...



Just when i was about 10 mins working? i got a call from the taxi company.. telling that the driver has actually returned the pass to the security guard... whuih... THX UNKNOWN UNCLEEEEE.......



anyway.. it's pretty amazing.. amusing.. surprising... *etc*... that client can somehow produce evidences when it is already IN the report... XD...... personally, i really think it's amusing.... maybe if any of you work in my field, u'll find it amusing as well =p.. coz at the start of engagement, client will usually 'show off' what they have... everything they dump it on you... Those people who have been interviewed and passed, they'll start to smile at you.. and ask how r you.... XD



As you progress with the engagement, u'll find out that there are alot of loopholes... or.... the document they provide u... simply..... rubbish =p and you have to start to ask them for more concrete evidences... digging and digging... and they'll stuck their nose up to the air.. and throw you something else.... or even ignore the deadline and say 'im busy... ' u know.. those things =p...



N this is the part when i say 'u piss me off, ill kick ur butt'.... which means, ill just 'fail' them =p... put it in the report.... n after that... clients will start to run about serving you with nice-looking documents and evidences.. smile at you.... and also start to ask 'how r u?'! XD This is what happened to me =p haha.. last week my senior went to present the report to the client.. and friday, i emailed some of them for information.. well.. some of them were really hard to get lah.. generate logs should be painful :s... but abracadabra.... they're all in my mailbox this morning XD

After that... went for the cheap lunch.. and accidentally met fellow indoz who were vendors to this client of mine... so ya.. tok abit.. n went back to my little sanctuary.......

Since i was alone, i need to lock the room each time i get out of the room.. n i did so... guess wad... I locked the room and the keys were inside :S :S :S bad bad bad... went to look for the frenly receptionist.. but she wasnt there... luckily, a staff gave me the spare key... phew.. i KNEW they'll keep a spare key.. hehe!! but eniweiz... if my senior was around, she'll definitely say 'wah fail!' haha... bcoz, the girl didnt even ask me to 'verify' that the room was really locked by ME.... and she just gave me the key.. didnt even escort me to the room... weehee... physical security fail leh!!


Oh ya... since the swine flue.. mexican flue... national alert rating is 'orange' now.. so ya.. my client has very good contingency plan... =p they divide the organization.. so that.. they have 2 'finance' department now.. and 1/2 would be working from the main HQ.. while the other half working at another place... and for the people who can work from home, 1/2 of them were required to work from home =p.... wheww...

I was kepoh2 and asked my client how they divide the team.. n my client was saying that not all departments are required to work from home/ get divided lah.. but they really take precautions.. such as recording down their temperature everyday.... *organization-wide exercise leh!*... n she asked me back about my company.. i told her.. 'not really.. they only take temperature for visitors only...' n she was like 'Didnt the security guard take your temperature???' XD XD XD see? another physical security fail.... XD aiyoyo... seriously... kerja in my field ah... u really see alot of 'wrongdoings' leh XD... XD XD XD anyway.. when i said 'no.. the security guard didnt even see me, i think..' she just rolled her eyes and laughed.. XD

So yuph, im almost done =p just need to draft the bloody report.. which will take a long time because my command of english is poor T.T..... but anyway... pulang siang itu indah........ wakakaka!!
