Sabtu sunyi....

lastnite, sbass asked me SO SUDDENLY to come to BB to watch drama of Joseph.. i didnt feel like going at first.. but u know.. my good Friday was not that 'touching' so yea.. i went along with marlin.. then vincent sms-ed juz around 15 minz before it actually 'starting'... i 'scowled' at him n say he 'ga niat ngajak' come onnnn 15 minz before it starts?! u muz be joking.. haha eniweiii went to BB, n it was fellowship dinner.. u know.. eat dinner together.. hehe met quite a few people there.. congii for one, bertha (actually i forgot her name O_o') haha few of vincent's frenz (which i oso forgot the names oredi O_o' gomeneee) eniweii the food is indo delicacies plus cendol for dessert.. *yumm2* :D :D

after that, we proceed to the 2nd floor for the 'service' it was a pretty brief intro n stuff... then the drama.... it is a musical about Joseph (Jacob's son), entitled STANDING ALONE... let'z talk about the story line first... itz about Joseph, who is the 11th son, (first son of Jacob's 4th and most beloved wife), who is also chosen by God to be good in His time.. Jacob loves Joseph so much that incur hate in his other siblings... Joseph is a dreamer.. one day he dreamt that he and his brothers were binding sheaves of grain, then his sheat rose and stood upright while his brothers' gathered around him and bowed down... and also, another dream was that star, moon and 11 stars (father, mother, and 11 brothers) were bowing down to him.. due to this, His brothers plotted something against him...

he was sold to Potiphar, which is one of pharaoh's official.. God continued to bless him while he was in Egypt that he was the in-charge of Potiphar's home... one day Potiphar's wife seduced him but he resist the temptation.. but this brought anger to Potiphar's wife... she told Potiphar that Joseph was in the wrong.. so Potiphar ordered him to be imprisoned... in prison, Lord continued to take care of him till one day, the pharaoh dreamt of a dream that no one could decipher.. lord made the chief cupbearer to remember about Joseph... hence, Joseph was summoned and asked to interpret the dream... as Joseph is humble, Lord decipher the dream to him and the dream meant that there'll be 7 years of abundance and 7 years of famine.. and he also adviced Pharaoh how to avoid the famine, that is to keep a portion of grains during the abundance period... Pharaoh then appointed him to be the in-charge...

when the famine had spread, Joseph opened the store-houses and sold grain.. the famine was severe throughout Egypt and all other countries, including Canaan... Joseph's brother also came to buy grains.. while Joseph is in dilemma to forgive or not to forgive, the Lord reminded him through his wife, that all that has happened is Lord's plan and that he should forgive them... So he did... but he has his own plot... He invited his brothers to join his table to feast... and then, when they were departing, he put his silver cup in Benjamin's (his 12th brother, the youngest in the family) sack of grains.. thus, he ordered them to be arrested...

his final order was for Benjamin to be arrested.. but THEN, his elder brothers all took turns to place themselves in Benjamin's.. as in they offered themselves to be arrested and asked Joseph's mercy to let Benjamin go.. they told Joseph that they made a mistake once by selling their 11th brother and hence, aged their father in agony... Joseph, was touched and he forgave them all... He brought all his family to egypt to live and prosper and to grow in number, filling the earth, just as wad God promised to Abraham... :D

the drama showed how Joseph, being alone in a foreign country, but the Lord alwiz bless and keep Him.. maybe His plan consists of sufferings and heartache depression, but He gave joseph endurance and strength and hence, since Joseph is true to Him, He made himself known to Joseph that he's alwiz there... tho Joseph seemed to be standing alone, the Lord God is alwiz there.. to sbass : ur choir is soooo divine!! they hav a powerful sopranos! and the two emcees.. omgg! they could win singapore idol! haha :D really! especially the girl.. she's very steady n solid! ^_^ and the drama members, they could really act! i especially like Joseph and erhmm is iy Judah? or Reuben? the one in red cloack.. :D 2 thumbs up man!! ^_^

here comes the sermon.. the sermon is straight to the point and you could feel the pang... he brought us to analyse the people around jesus when he was on the cross.. 11 disciples that were prepared so well by Jesus to the coming crucifixion ran away and hid themselves in fear or defeat that Jesus, the King that they thought he was, must die on the cross shamefully.. little did they realise that victory awaits behind those 'shameful' crucifixion.. the women, wept underneath the cross.. but is it really they were with jesus? or were they juz crying because of their women-nature? the women went up the hill at dawn on easter sunday bringing spices to anoint the body that they believed to be there? meaning they didnt realise the victory too...

well he said.. this is not the main debate... the main thing is to show that Jesus was alone on the cross, those who he had prepared before hand, wasnt with him, but miraculously, his crucifixion had saved one criminal (the one on his right), coz he said that 'remember me when you come to your kingdom...' but jesus said.. 'TODAY! u'll be with me in paradis' aint it beautiful how it works for those of us who believes?

after the sermon, he continued with callings... he made the calling in such a way i was shivering through out.. but funny ting is that i dun feel the URGE to juz commit to change the way i live.. he was saying 'maybe some of us indulge in sins and enjoys it..' 'maybe some of us wants to go back to the right rack' 'maybe we realize how ugly our lives are' i do i do i do i do!!! but y??? i didnt feel the urge? as in i only say YEA.. thatz me... y couldnt i commit?? the pastor told a story that REALLY slapped me in the face.....

During the great alexander's era, there's one small soldier that ran away from the battle... he was caught and brought to alexander... alexander bellowed to him 'young man.. is it true u ran away from the battle?' 'aye' the soldier answered... alexander asked his name... n shyly timidly but hopefully the young man answered 'im alexander' he was thinking our name is the same... :D maybe ive some hope.... but alexander the great brought him to the ground and said 'CHANGE YOUR NAME! or CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE'................. itz the same as us, Christians... wad if one day God asked me 'did u run away from the battle against evil?' n i said 'yea' then when i said 'im a christian...' he said 'CHANGE YOUR NAME!' isnt it scary? awfully frightening........... the pastor said you have another option... 'change your attitude'........ but i still dun feel the calling! i told sbass this n he said i should change my relationship... start with quiet time and praying for others..

pray for me.. i need it a loadz.. i dun want Him to turn his face on me when i meet him in heaven.......... eniwei.. sbass.. thx for inviting.. really felt the impact in my soul.... thx thx... :D and i love the song... :D trust His heart...

God is too wise to be mistaken.. God is too good to be unkind.. so when you dont understand, when you Dont see His plan, When you can't trace His hand, Trust His heart...... Trust His heart..... :D TRUST HIS HEART!!!!!!!
