yoz... i cant bliv i forgot to blog about the Japanese Summer Festival (spring or summer? <-- yukata shld be worn during summer rite? O_o') well eniweiz.. here's it ^_^

it was rizky who asked me to go.. well b4 tat, was planning to go for BB's bdae *oopz* oh well.. :p haha.... eniweiz.. so decided to go for the summer festival eniweiz... went with hana, tony, wihu, rizky, yuku, willy, n few other indo NTUs whom i dun know ^_^;! *gomene..*

rizky told me that we should come early in order to wear the yukata.. *4 o clock* well.. we came around 4.30 instead... n guess wad? the queue was soooo long oredi O_o'! then after the japanese girls screamed n shouted in order to get everyone in line,........ me n nana couldnt get a yukata.. :'( all rented outttt!!! *UGH!!!*... tatz y... NEXT YEAR!! i'll be there at 3!!!! *promiz2*!!!

persuaded the guys to wear the guy's yukata (wadz it called? yukata yoo? O_o') wihu n tony didnt want initially.. but after quite persuassion, they both wore.. :p hehehe... *am i that scary? O_O'* haha.. eniweiz.. me n nana then queued for the entrance tix *stupid tony forgot to bring his tix* n the tix booth was not open till 6 O_o'! while at around 5.30 everyone had started to fill in their tracks for food game n activities :'( (coz me n nana peeked from upstairs while we were touring around their school..)!!!!

oh well finally our turn hath come... so hapie... jubilee... i duno.. itz feels... 'japanese..' hahaha.. i mean the 2 MCs were talking non-stop in Japanese, all around people wearing yukatas and holding those japanese fans which i tot only existed in comic books ^_^ haha..

then we toured around the booth.. hana got herself a handbag.. n we bought chocolates ^_^ they're cheaper than outside! O_o' $1 each only.....!!

time for food.. *again* the queues were so long! O_o' we tried out onigiri *salmon n 'sampah' filling*.. (note!!!: the 'sampah' does not mean RUBBISH! i duno the name.. but ive been calling it sampah ^_^; hehe... er.. u know.. like the one u eat when u eat takopachi?).. curry rice, okonomiyaki, german sausages (wonder y isit in jpnese festival?), takoyaki, ice cream, cotton candy, korean's drinks... er... tatz all rite? haha.. well the main food are not THAT fantastic, i must say.. i only like onigiri eniweiz O_o' haha... er.. okonomiyaki quite tasteless.. sausages v nice!!

but we do enjoy our nite there dun we??!!! *YEAA!!!!* hehe.. while eating, we sat nearer to the stage so tat we could watch their performances as well... they were performance by NYP's sakura club *er..... no comment....*, the japanese association (all pretty, young girls!).. really.. the japanese girls are so cute O_o' no wonder japanese boys dun like other tribes.. i mean races.. hahaha... well.. really.. the girls n kids ARE cute! supa dupa cute!! u should have seen the kid's yukatas.. all flowery, lively colours.. their mommys would 'dress' their hair.. *huiq2.. want a jpnese baby :'(* haha.. the girls, on the other hand, look REAL cute juz by putting on their yukatas... they dun really dress their hair like the indos (hairspray n pins O_o), those were simple braids or pins or simple buns.. really! it is like comics-come-true..

during summer festival, there'd be this traditional dance called 'BON ODORI' whereby the leaders would be (usually) older females.. *obaasan* with their traditional song.. n everyone around the stage would start dancing the stepz the 'obasaan' teach :p well.. we didnt join the dance.. we were busy spending the rest of our coupons.. :p hahaha.. we went to this game stall.. n AGAIN comics-come-true... haha... those goldfish catching, yoyo balloons.. whew.. i didnt know how they played this game before.. :p oh well.. a very very pleasing experience to see their traditional game n yet v fun.... ^_^..

well.. i got the meaning of BON ODORI wrong... hm.. rather.. mixed up.. well.. understanding japanese culture from comic books are certainly one thing.. but remembering it is another thing ^_^;.. i tot bon odori is where guys, gentlemen, would together haul up this big thing er.. nt sure wad tat is, to show their 'manliness'... read it in a comic before, that this practice is also to boost men's ego, tat they're capable of lifting up such heavy things sumting lidat.. ^_^

well.. the festival ends before we even realized it *sobz2* all feels so familiar *kenal dari comics gituw ^_^;* haha.. the surroundings were also kindof how they described it.. the school, perfectly clean n neat.. the people.. screaming to each other in jpnese.. *i cant even catch a word! *sigh...** next year... next year next year!!! DFINITELY will wear the yukata.. i PROMIZZZZ *ahaehauiwerao finally my BAKIAK would be put to use :p*
