beautiful sunday... ^_^

last update for today.. O_o'! itz almost 11 n im still not studying.. O_o'! huehuehehuee.. .erhm.. the update would be about yesterday.. ^^

i was dragging myself out of the bed at 7.20.. oredi tinking i'd go to GPBB instead of ORPC.. when i went out to the bathroom, marlin opened her door looking unlike HER on sunday morning.. still in her pyjamas, ruffled hair, 1-line eyes.... saying "nat im gona follow u to ORPC.." n i was like.. "im late.. i tink i need to go to GPBB..' then she nodded.. we both went into our rooms, n slept for another few minutes.. O_o'!!

we made it to GPBB even b4 sbass arive.. ^_^v heuheueheuheu.... marlin looked ehrm.. undescribable.. O_o' she looked so amazed that the songs she knows in english are translated to indonesians... *girl.. there's no surprise in these... O_o'! bibles are also translated to all different languages....*.. everytime there's a bible reading, she'd glance to me n i had to tell her wad the book is in english uwarhoaieurhaepra...

the preacher was the guy tat 'preached' to us during GPO's thanksgiving outing.. :D.. he preached about the POWER OF PRAYER... itz true itz true itz true how prayer is powerful.. he made me realise that prayer by individuals are important, but prayer meetings are ALSO very important!!! shall we start anew lin? ^_^ prayer meeting...!!!!!!! the books were from mathew 18:19, james 5:13-20 *the prayer of faith*

hm.. yesterday afternoon, the rain poured down like it had never rained b4.. O_o'! all the way till almost 6.. O_o'!! eleta told me about the free jazz performance at esplanade... despite the heavy downpour, i braced the rain *gaya bgt.. ^^* nana was oredi at esplanade... i took cab lagh.. it was really too heavy to come out to the bus stop.. :p hehe.. the driver was driving at 60km/hour.. at normal day i'd have killed him for driving at that speed at highway.. :p hehe.. but yesterday i felt like saying 'can u drive slower?' hehe.. eniweiz... he is a frenly middle-aged uncle.. saying tat he had guessed tat im indonesian since i stepped into his cab.. haha..

then he asked about my city blabla.. he had heard that bandung is a cooling place surrounded with mountains.. then he asked y i never taken direct flight to bandung.. when i told him itz quite dangerous becoz of the mountains, he was nodding in enthusiasm... saying soemthing like 'ya ya... i agree.. i mean for most of us, never see mountains before.. we only see sky-scrapers.." then he went on saying 'even kids never see chickens on the streets... if they see living chicken on the street i think they'd go HIGH,.. "egh chicken!"...' beruwairuerhep so crazy agh this uncle.. :p but itz quite true eh? where on earth can u see living chicken in singapore?? the last time i saw chicken is at KFC.. O_o'! the living one is at TKS coz the orphanage near TKS had some chickens for the children to feed.. *i gues*

oh well.. finally i arrived in esplanade.. it was 10 mins b4 the concert.. i was oredi tinking tat i'd be sitting at circle3 again.. but surprise2... not so many people.. i mean so little in fact.. :p we were seated at circle ONE! 5th row from the front becoz we chose to.. we could have gotten the first row eniweiz.. :p hehehe

the performance was done by hm.. not-so-young people.. :p the more i look at the keyboard guy, the more he look like heru.. O_o' hehehe.. well2 everyone seemed to be engrossed in their own instruments.. the saxophone guys looked stiff... *but he's great!* the other sax guy, is more enthu.. he was moving with the rhythm.. ^_^ itz great to see those people at their age, can play those instruments.. i mean DRUMSSS and ELECTRIC GUITAR!!! o_O'

then came the singer, philippino-turning singaporean.., her voice is sexy! ^_^ really... nice nice soothing voice.. tho her words are not so clear.. ehehe.. but it was good.. she was singing 'dream a little dream of me', 'greatest love of all', 'take me to the moon??' and 'the way u look tonite..' when she was singing that song, nana must have been imagining sylvester singing :p heheh but it was quite a different feeling.. :p sly gave more touchy feeling.. :p hehehe...

eniweiz.. i was going to doze off... cant blame me! the weather was so very nice *to sleep* outside.. n there u r sitting at a dimly-lit DOME.., lulled by jazzy songs... really nice nice.. :p ehehehehee

next was the INFUSION.... it was infusion of traditional chinese instruments like the er hu and the bamboo flute *forgot wadz the name*.., + electric guitar + electric violin.. it was WAH!!!!!!!! awakening.. :p hehehe.. the 3 songs they played together was GREAT!! didnt know those instruments could have made a great symphony with each other... the er hu and the bamboo flute gave an oriental touch.. but the song simply ENCHANTING..!! *mezmerizinggggggg!!!* i cant imagine that bamboo flute could be as loud as saxophone, keyboards and drums!!... n it was only 1 person playing it!!

the er hu guy was so into the song that made my eyes hooked to the er hu..!! he played like nobody's business.. aiz.. i duno how to describe.. O_o' but he was great! when they combined er hu and violin..... u can hear the two strings meet but somehow different... ^_^ kewllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll very very super kewl... im now wanting lee hom's latest album *the one with er hu*.. he was also trying to infuse chinese n modern instruments!!! give me give me give me!! *gret might be jumping over in australia.. :p*

their last song was beautiful sunday.. the one sang hundred years ago.. one of my DAD'S fav.. can u imagine? itz an old song.. haha.. but it was great.. :p she asked us all to sing togethr.. :D so it was a rainy but beautiful sunday... ^_^ thx SAF music n drama!!! ^_^ it wasnt a waste of my cab fare at all :p hehehe thx eleetaaaa......!! ^_^

hm.. nana was telling me tat she cant study.. O_o'! cant concentrate.. hey na.. gwa juga ga bisa concentrate!! :'(!!! so both of us muz encourage one another okay?! haaha.. ^_^ okay2.. im off to the market,.. gona study after this okay?!
