BACK!! (part1)

BACK!! currently using wijen's internet huehuee... eniweiz.. in one word, it was FUN-TASTIC.. hehe...





go down to the details.., it was my first trip to Penang n we took super early flight, at 8 =.=... i was at the airport by 5.15, when they actually told us to gather at 6.. =p hehe.. i was pretty SHOCKED to see there alot of groups of people flogging the designated area..





There were 99 of us.. yep... 99... 78 ladies n 21 guys.. i found a seat between 1 group of people and 1 pretty lady.. n apparently the pretty lady is the 'other' foreign colleague that the HR was toking abt... well anyway.... we flew with SIA (economic class lah...*unlike someone...*) and when i found my seat, i intro myself to the girl, n thx God, she's from the same dept as me!! yay!! hehee..





Well apparently, the company has made it a point that we all sit with the person in the same department AND roommate..... yep, that girl becomes my roommate.. When we arrive, the tour, guide told me about the local food that is categorised as 'MUST TRY': penang laksa, char kway teow, nasi kandar, etc....





When we arrived in the hotel, the hotel was super nice!!! it was super pretty... by the sea side... it was WOW.... we were ushered right away to the ballroom for cocktail... ^_^ n not long, we had our buffett lunch.... yum yum yum..





We had our first training session of the day, having partners addressing us... and well.. pretty boring O_o'.... that was first day.... XDXD





We all went to hawker centre just 5 mins walk from our hotel for our dinner... n it was super CHEAP LOR!! we ate local food like char kway teow, satay, (something i didnt know), penang laksa..... they're REALLY CHEAP... mwahaha...... but i must say, that their food is not FANTASTIC.. it was nice, yes, but not THAT great.. =p





After dinner we walked around the Gurney Plaza just beside our hotel, n found nothing much lah..... we all went to bed early becoz of the lonnnnggggggg dayy..





Next day, the first disaster happened...!! The dress code for the rest of the training was 'smart casual', which according to my understanding, is polo T n jeans... well.. it was God's plan that i brought 4 collared shirt (informal ones) and 1 polo T and 1 blouse... n surprisingly, i also brought along my black pants!!





I went down for breakfast with my roomie... and i was astounded to see everyone walking around, in my opinion, in formal attire.. so i had to rush back to change my black pants.. huehue.... the 1/2 of the morning was again, addresses by partner T.T... 1/2 half of the day was filled with 'auditing' training materials... which, is super boring to me =.=;





The 2nd day i was super sick that i had to cancel going to the night market at batu feringghi... in the end my group didnt go T.T we ate curry fish (also near the hotel) n i went to bed right away.. n the next day, i was as good as new..
