interesting week...

Yup, indeed this week was interesting... hehee.. I went to 3 different clients this week.. n call me funny, i LOVE going to clients XD.. well of course, there are more works to be done when you have finished interviewing the client.... but it's fun! *kepoh by nature segh gw*

Anyway.. tuesday, was quite a bliss.. we went for discussions and well.. as expected, the situation is TENSE, because they're really putting on all the best defenses they could against our 'findings' (faults).. but i was with my senior.. so he was the one tackling everything.. n boy! he looks super confident when answering everything.. indeed... an experienced consultant..!!! cool2.. he's my inspiration now XD

Then.. I had to cover one of my senior's job to INTERVIEW a client about a firewall setting... can u imagine how scary it is?!! no one has ever seen that firewall before!! omigosh.. scary!! but thank God... really THANK GOD... he gave me a nice client to liase with.. and things worked out fine.. hehee..

Today was another meeting.. we ended the meeting about 11.30? and we went for lunch... and went for shopping XD.... as in... strolling XD... geez.. dont u think this is great? XD hahahaha

Ok.. that's the great part... the 'bad' side of it.. is that usually, we have to do 'follow-up' with what we have talked to the client about.... so ya.. there are many things to do when i go back after meeting the client T.T... yesterday, i did my report until 2am.... yay..! welcome to the working world.... n u know what's cool? i could wake up this morning XD... i was walking like a zombie out of the room.. but after reaching the office... the mood to 'work' is there XD... n i worked through till 7.30 O_o siao horrrrr

Another interesting thing for the week... i started the japanese class yesterday! hehe.. thanx to Chinx, this came true XD... anyway.. the place is super run down lah!! it's on the 4th level of the shop houses.. everything is sooooo traditional XD.. the tables and chairs are old.. the walls and floors are old... well everything is old.. except for the teacher.. XD he's a young japanese guy.. who spoke english very weirdly.. XD

He's also very SCRIPTED.. he sent some handouts to us.. and he READ it word by word.. ok.. u get it.. he's NO FUN at all XD... he started with telling us the difference between hiragana, katakana and kanji *reading from the stupid handouts* and walked us through to read hiragana.. XD

sensei: A
us: A
sensei: it must be pronounced as 'aah' not 'ei'.. ja.. ne.. E
us: E
sensei: it must be pronounced as 'eh' not 'i'... ja... nee.... I
us: I
sensei: it must be pronounced as 'ee' not 'ai'.... ja.. ne.... O
us: O
sensei: it must be pronounced as 'o' not 'ou'... ja... U
us: U
sensei: it must be pronounced as 'wu' not 'you'.. ja.. AEIOU

.
.

then.. went on to ga gi gu ge go, etc etc.. but can u imagine? they are SO MANY words... and he read it ONE BY ONE.. more than 4x!! n then he went on calling one by one to read some of the hiragana... n well.. it's kinda slow in the beginning.. and boring too =.=

Then we learnt greetings.. ohayo gozaimasu.. domo arigatougozaimasu.. sumimasen.. ogenkidesuka? ohisashiburi... omedetou gozaimasu... those things.. and he kinda 'conversed' with us XD with those words... the funny part is, there's this girl who seems to like the ending 'masen' XD she tends to end everything with 'masen'.. ohayo gozaiMASEN XD XD XD domo arigatou gozamasen XD or even OYASUMIMASEN XDXDXDXDXDXD mwahaha..

for greetings, sensei said it pretty slowly... hajimemashite... and we had to follow... but somehow, these words are tongue twister for the non-indo (i previusly tot that this is a problem for the "beginners" but chinx didnt seem to get any problems reading the romaji XD....

so.. according to them, the greetings get gradually more difficult... when it comes to the point 'ohisashiburi', most of them SERIOUSLY groaned and moaned and even muttered 'wahlew!' XD so funny XD

In between, sensei would call us one by one and greeted us randomly.. and we're supposed to respond with appropriate greetings (anyway all on paper lah! so all we have to do is read!)... then he went on teaching us how to write 'beautiful' hiragana.. XD and asked us to memorze 10 hiraganas... aiueo and kakikukeko

Then some dictation using those hiraganas that we've learnt... we learnt like 'ue', 'ai', 'iie', 'ie', etc.. lastly, we learnt numbers.... ichi ni san yon n soon, it's 10 o clock T.T sad lagh..

Towards the ending, sensei called us one by one and asked us to tell him our HANDPHONE number using JAPANESE XD in-te-res-ting.. XD well.. i like it.. =] at least ive started somewhere now.. ^_^v
