read the straits times last saturday? it was quite scary... the listed down all the disasters tat had happened from 26th dec 04.. asking if we're really at the edge of the end of the world..... are we? i think so......

they also had some quotes from the bible, quran n hindu's books.. i think they did a pretty good job being 'neutral' as in free thinker and yet looking for prophecies from the prophets in our religious books... n i think, to them, those prophecies do make sense...! itz evidental...! the disasters.. u may read from the revelation.. all are prophesied long b4 this time.. and only fools close their eyes to these signs of the end of the world... n yea.. the world is nearing to the end......................... all agree??

they also have some other things on their saturday paper.. itz that the christians are rigorously spreading the news of jesus christ as the only way and saviour to the sick and elderly in hospitals or clinics... well... for us, christians, we have to give those people thumbs up for seizing every opportunity to spread the gospel.. but to other religions or free thinker? they spite these care-givers.. O_O'!! even giving out law for care-givers not to talk about religions while attending to the sick... *if i dun read it wrongly*

there's one lady, attended by a nurse for her regular treatment.. the nurse then asked 'do u believe in Jesus christ?'.. the old lady was not offended but apparently her son/daughter *dun remember* was offended, saying that the nurse is not sparing a thought for other religions/free thinker... and also that itz not FAIR to spread the gospel when one is old and sick... my my.. i was laughing out loud reading this sentence...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! itz written in the bible that *something like this lah.. :p i duno where it was from n i cant quote well* in weakness that My (God's) power is best revealed.... anyone remember which book n verse? >_<

then there's also one doctor spreading gospel to his patient.. the patient said 'i put up with him coz he's my doctor n that my life is in his hands..' *toweww!!! O_o'* whose life is on whose hands? O_o'!! hey.. i like this kind of doctors.. :p i mean no matter wad his religion is.. by bringing up his God to the front desk shows that he realise that he is mere human, that he knows life n death is in God's hands.... i mean really.. ive seen so many arrogant doctors tat i spite.. but then when u tink about them again.. quite poor ting.. they duno who they actually are.. n who made them who they are..... *sigh...*

so then.. i was quite angry agh.. O_o'... these people are actually harmless.. i mean they're only TELLING u the gospel n dun FORCE u to accept christ out of ur will.. *no one can!* if they invite u to church's elderly lunch.. that's our church culture.. we have woman's meetings.. children's sunday school... elderly's lunch... so wad if they asked these people to one of these functions? treat it as a free lunch in this place called a church.... one would NEVER convert IF NOT holy spirit's work!! so i guess people should not be too offended when asked to come to church... take my good fren.. he's coming with me on the 30th even tho he's a bliever of other religion.., rite? =p

christians know the time is drawing near... i mean we read the book of revelation, matthew, mark, luke, john etc etc.. since we had our bible.. we ourselves felt the shiver when John described us how heaven is like.. how the scrolls and seals are opened.. n then wrath of God is poured onto earth.. each time 1/3 of earth is destroyed... nothing escape.. earth.. water... sky... scary? definitely.... christians also know the good news awating the end of the earth... tat'z everlasting life in Heaven with Jesus as our ruler.. ^_^ so is that wrong to tell others this good news?

take for example.. we watched a movie.. itz great.. wouldnt u tell at least ONE fren about the movie? if itz really good, u'd even PERSUADE them to watch coz itz worth ur money n time.. how many times i've told marlin/ marlin told me.. 'can watch lagh.. but not on weekends..' then we know tat it'z not worth our $9.50 but $7.50.. the difference in $2 makes us think twice to watch....................... y? becoz we hear her opionion... y is there MOVIE reviews in magazines and newspapers? to at least give us some insight of the movie's ratings..! all decisions are left up to us actually... when ratings in the newspaper is 3.5 out of 5... we can give it a try.. 2.5? erh.. wait till it's screened on tv.. hahaaa........ get wad i mean rite?? more people giving good reviews, the more we know how much it worth...

I also remember agnes watching harry potter 4x... accompanying her bro who had not watched HP by then.. y? coz she KNOWS its a great movie n wants her brother to enjoy it.... *this is wad i mean by persuading coz she knows they'd love it, dun miss a good show* even tho maybe her brothers actually big fan of action movie.... they might ended up liking THIS one more than action movies... who knows? give it a try is all it takes..

next example, is doctors.. u know.. mountE is always packed with Indonesians? y? becoz we BELIV tat these doctors have expertise in their own field... n when one person is healed, this one person will tell his frens, his friend's fren, his parents' frenz, u know now where it ends... tatz y mountE doctors hav never had a LOW season =p hehe... like the twins.. their dad is now recovering steadily after the kidney transplant.. even b4 he had a transplant, they told me about their doctor + his contacts n clinic.... my mum, now being his patient, couldnt stop quoting his name when having small-talk with people... everytime we got off his clinic, she'd take his name cards...

while waiting for our turn in doctor's clinic, the indonesian patients would usually smile, talk to each other.. asking how long hav they been patient of this doctor.. wad went wrong with the kidney.. blabla.. in the end, this line usually appear 'this doctor is good...!' this line gives other patient a new confidence and hope to be healed..

remember the girl i wrote about in previous blog? her mum said 'tadi ngambil kartu namanya ga? ambil aja.. saya slalu ambil loch.. buat bagi2 ke orang yg perlu.. kasian sigh..' *did u take his name cards? should take... i alwiz take legh.. to be given to needy people.. coz very poor ting..*.. see? for one person experiencing anything firsthand/second hand (>_<), they know the agony and the feeling of being in that state... they would want to alleviate other's pains and give others hope too.. one doctor heals, the ripple is ....

wad about Jesus? he SAVED not only HEALED us..... isat wrong if we tell it to others?? well itz up to that other people to come / not to come.. to feel the hope or juz tinking 'i cant be saved anymore.. my sickness is too severe..' UP TO THE PERSON... as people who are saved, we only tell that itz something best to watch / He is a good doctor... recommending u... even persuade you.. but itz rili up to you.. and our intention is actually good.. for u to gain n enjoy something from it........

bagh.. im preaching here O_o'! sorie guys... coz i was reading it.. n i tot i want to put my comments in here too.. :p

am i surprised that all these disasters happened? NO... am i scared? Yes... to be honest... im scared.... what's more scary is when u go to heaven, looking for ur name in the book of life.. n He said 'i dun find ur name...' or He said 'i know u NOT..' o_O'! that's y ive been trying to come back to the right path... help meeeeeee tatsukette kudasaiiiiiiiiiii...........
