granma's bdae...

My granma’s bdae was quite GRAND… itz her 80th bdae.. so all of the invited guests made it a point to come despite having the celebration on a monday… =p around 30 people didn’t turn up, tho..

Well, in the morning, some of my relatives came to wish her hapy bdae… *sisters of nia’s mum…* they went crazy laughing and playing my youngest aunt out.. *about her coming marriage..* then they helped to make the ‘gift’ for guests, which is an apple and a bao marking ‘Shou’.. while doing it, *I was THEN present..* they kept on throwing jokes to my youngest aunt.. that she should be careful during her wedding day.. :p!!! Uh Oh….!! =p

Then my brother and my cousins did the last minute work of the photo-slide presentation… *like our xmas party’s presentation*, involving our old photos… The girls and women left to do the hairdo.. it took AGES for the salon to curl my hair.. despite this time, they make it a point that SOME are curled and SOME are left straight… but really.. it took AGES o_O’!! When we reached, the whole family were waiting for photo takings already =S..

The afternoon was breezy.. cold because of the rain in the late morning.. the photo taking took a looooooonnnnngggggg time -_-‘! Tatz one of the reason I hate taking photos in Studio.. especially when itz with parents.. the photographer would suddenly become serious about your pose, your smile, THAT 1 strand of your hair… -_-‘!

After that, we went AGAIN back to our house.. the boys tried as they might to finalized the presentation… n deeming it GOOD.. hehe… then OFF we went for the dinner..

According to the schedule, there isn’t anything the grandchildren gota do.. so we were sitted here n there.. gota keep company of the guests mah… then when itz started, my granma walked from behind the room, tailed by her children and her children-in-laws… we, the grandchildren, looked at each other and didn’t move an inch from our station.. as said, we DIDN’T hav to do anything magh.. =p but one of my relatives were shouting *loudly* calling each of our names.. making all of us to go to the stage.. O_o’! we became a living mannequins there… -_-‘!

The MC was my pastor… as u could guest, there’s a RENUNGAN… quite long some more =s.. O_o’! then my aunt spoke a thing or two about my granma, then the childrens gave flower to her, then the grandchildrens queue-ing to give kisses.. then we sang then my dad had to give an impromptu speech to the guests… -_-‘! VERY LONGGGGGGGG… too long……. =’(

When the food was finally served, itz grandchildren’s turn to showcase what we got… but too bad… all got hungry and not interested in looking to the screen… -_-‘! Only sometimes when some of the tables screamed, then people looked up.. in the end, only our OWN people stopped eating to watch the screenplay…. Because we dig old photo albums that made them ‘HAAA? How come got this pic?!’ or ‘omigod!! U were so young there!!!’ *sobs2..* poor thing the ‘trio kwek kwek’ were quite disappointed and said that next year they’d rather sing than do this kind of thing… hueuheuheuhe

The fooooooodddd was great… n a great deal salty too -_-‘! But nevertheless, nice… ^_^… heuehuheuheuhe that’s the end of the celebration… when we were about to go, the waiters said ‘EH.. the cake…’ -_-‘! We FORGOT about the cake -_-‘! Something about the cake… the stupid cake shop didn’t provide a BOX.. for that 2-storeys-high cake.. so itz put in MY car.. n as a result, dad has to drive REAL SLOW… n when we reached home, we had difficulty to keep the cake.. in the end,,.. that byutiful cake was demolished… wekekkee…

Great night to do thanksgiving… thank God for giving my granma a long live, thanx for blessing her with unconditional love and health.. thx for making her our granma, hopefully when she reflects on her life, looking at us, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she wun be disappointed by ANY of us… ^_^ AMEN..
pics??? later lah hor... =p
