yooohooo!!!!

whew.. so many updates i need to tell u guys.. haha..!!
First.. yea.. the wedding was AWESOME!! hoho!!! details:



I went there quite 'late' but ended up arrived at 7.45.. it was a grand hotel man... ive nv been to singapore's shangrila... well.. there are loadza people dressed in evening gowns.. just like indo's wedding!! everyone there was so elegant..! i took my time walking slowwwwly... looking for the ballroom... guess wad? it's sooo near that even though i was walking at the pace of a snail, i reached there at no time -__-'....



yea.. i was out of place.. duno wad to do.. noOne seemed to be alone.. I almost regretted tony's offer to be my date [since he also nv attended singaporean's wedding] the registration counter were sooo crowded.. i met claudean's bf, steve.. n asked him wad to do.. n he said 'register urself there...'



doeinx.... it's none-too-helpful answer... i want to know HOW to register.. but lucky enough he told me to 'just tell the registration person your name..'.. k.. i went to the registration and told her my name.. puff... my table number of 107.. whoooohoooo!! ow.. i forgot to mention the computers were touch screen *_* [starry-eyed]



then they told me to put the hongbao inside james' box.. but they didn't put any numbers there O_o'! doeinx... luckily i put down my name even though the hongbao cover's surename is not my surename -___-' .. hehe.. then i spotted james.. looking brightly happy, shaking hands with everyone.. then i said congratulations to him.. n then he found me my "cliques" which are the EY guys.. whom were james' "brothers"... Joined them but duno wad to say to them... every second ticked i was standing stoning.. sobz.. then i started to appreciate the room... alot of people were gathering at the centre, which is where the tables are.. really.. it's grand..! I had to change my mind about wedding party in singapore, whom i THOUGHT everyone could come in any 'casual' clothes.. I saw men in shirts and ties... women in eve gowns or dresses...



er.. the wedding invitation mentioned that attire should be formal segh...



then francois asked me whether i want to go in first.. so i thought it wld be better if i just sit down inside.. i stepped in to the reception hall..... WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA very grand!!! dim lights.. chandellier [was there? haha] not very elaborated decoration, but that only emphasize more on the grand-ness [is it grand-ness?] of the wedding but ofcoz i tried not to look so swakoo... I made a point to find my table.. sOoO sAd!... noone was there.. sobz.... So i asked marlin to call me.. I told her the snapshots of wad happend earlier.. n to my surprise, marlin was SURPRISED tooo!! she was like 'computers??' 107???' 'how many tables are there??!!' n she was commenting that THIS wedding dinner is none-too-humble... i didnt know =p i tot all singaporean weddings are THIS grand.. phew..



I remembered now.. my other colleague, whom getting merid in july, said that wedding in singapore is quite expensive.. she was giving some figures as example... imagine if you hold 30 tables....

this one was until 109..!! i found the 'thank you' gift on the table.. under the dim light i noted it's 10packets of premium blend coffee with james n sharon's name printed on it and some wedding notes.. nice.....



not long, 2 of my colleagues came over.. n then they started to give me insights i never knew before... they were commenting 'oww... itz coffee blend... no surprise..' then they looked at me.. 'u know y?? coz james' bride's dad is the owner of super [singapore brand for coffee..!!]' man.. cOoOoOoOoLLllLll!!



then Grace came to our table to say 'got jack neooo!!!!' cindy said 'im waiting to see lee nanxing' I only know jack neo =p! haha!!



Guests start to flow in.. n finally the wedding ceremony begins.. the MC said 'good evening minister of ...,' WOAAAAAA got minister O_o!! then the walkins.... the guests must remain seated.. negh?? in indo the guests would come to the centre isle to 'greet' them, right? n they'll walk slowwwwwwly... this one... they walk soo fast leh! n their walkin song was composed by the bride... the lyrics by the groom and sang by the bride... zoooo sweet hor!!!!!!!



then cake cutting ceremony was also done in a breeze... they just cut as in really cut... no dramatic moves or words by the MC.. in indo the mc would say things like 'the cake symbolises their life.. they move on from the lowest step blablablaala.. n balbalballaaaa' i think james n sharon only cut the lowest level and really2 just cutting it.. haha....



food is finally served.... first was Lobster... whoaaaa damn nice... n wadz good abt this, is that we have waitresses to divide our food.. we dun have to trouble ourselves standing up and taking our food ourselves... nice ^_^v



next was sharks' fin soup... yYUUMmmmMmyyYYYYyyYYY!!!!! then more to come.. abalone.. grouper... prawns... wah lavish dinner ^_^v



then we had the 2nd walk-in.. they showed some pictures of james and sharon since they were kids... it wasnt too touching like i thought it would, becoz of the songs!! the song was fast beat and the photoslides transitions do not show any dramatic effects... so yea.. they came in again.. n this time, james gave a speech... quite touching la.. hahaa



marlin was saying tat i should go before they finish.. so tat i dun hav to queue for taxi.. but duno y.. ended up she picked me up from the hotel just before the last dish is served... T.T!! so.. yea.. didnt get the chance to eat the dessert.. but the night worth more than $80 haha!! i experienced attending a grand wedding as my first singaporean wedding.. lucky i didnt back out =p



it's cool... different than the weddings ive attended in indo.. where everyting is made dramatic.. this one is simple.. but i tink flower boys and girls would make it sweeter ^_^



This week James is on honeymoon... he said then when he's back and has settled down in his new house, he'll host a housewarming... hehee... another event to look forward to ^_^



it seemed that my IA experience is a bit different than tony's/... while he has more stories of 'romance'.. i have other fun things to experience too...!! heheeheee.... maybe tomorrow i will blog a lot... bear with me hor..... haha! me going for BBQ now =p
