performing arts

hm.. Let's see.. last year.. around this timing, im getting super excited about the PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (which was in April last year..).. n it was the first time i stepped into esplanade's theatre going wwwwoooooo...... and waaaaaaaaaaaawwwww...... XD

After the phantom of the opera, im got addicted into watching performances, n i have watched more performances since i have been in the last.. erm.. decade? XD XD.. i used to watch performances.. musicals.. theatrical and drama musicals in church.. other churches in indo.. singing and drama at least erhm... 2x a year? (minimum.. go to my church's performances on easter and xmas..) hehee..

For the past (less than) one year, ive watched:
- Phantom of the opera
- Swan lake on ice
- Handel's messiah
- The Scrooge
- Nutcracker fairy tale on ice..
- cats, chitty chitty bang bang and les miserables (on DVD) hehee..
- Hairspray (yea.. the one with john travolta playing a lady!).. its great!! must watch =]
- oh...! and SSO mother's day performance at botanical garden (free one) haha! and other beautiful sundays... XD

Yummie... =] life is just right with strings... winds.... and percussions.... (XD XD) and some singings....... phew.. heavenly....... no codings.. no if-else loop.. no for-loop.. no public static void arg.. u name it O_o/ nothing... just you... and the sound of song that reverberated to your ears.... ur heart and ur soul...... (sounds like im mystified =p)

Wads the point of me writing this entry... hm.. let me think again... T.T...

Oh! its the La traviata performance coming up next tuesday.. huehuee.. see? this would be my first experience watching performance in erhm.. language other than english hauhuaa... i duno if i would be excited.. or asleep watching it =p but yea.. im definitly excited.. yeahoo!!

So.. u see.. it was first phantom of the opera... it costs erhm... alot... hhuhuhu.. n i tot 'itz worth it! when ELSE would i be watching world class performance!!' n guess wad.. addiction knows no mercy... it makes me want to watch this and thats and this and thats...

Well there are a few things we 'canceled' due to elimination.. coz it's a lower priority... but its all actually because of financial matters :( like.. the king and I.., Rachmaninov piano... swan lake ballet (but this is becoz i tot i hv seen the better one haha!)..

God knows how many more performing arts me n my small groups of partner in crime would have gone to this year... coz we kinda hav the habbit of poisoning each other into buying the tix.. XD oh well.. marlin wanted to watch the 'beauty world..' but well....... its of the lower priority =p XD

I felt soooooooooo stupid for missing beautiful sunday last week.. it's potpourri on string by NUS strings grrr........ bego bego bego... enihoo..
