This was the passage for Good Friday sermon, taken from Luke 23:27 & 28

27And there accompanied [Jesus] a great multitude of the people, [including] women who bewailed and lamented Him.
28But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

It is true that Good Friday is always associated with gloomy, sad feelings and just because it IS the death of our dear Christ.. but this Luke passage tells us that Jesus does not want people weeping over Him, because He knows what He is doing and that He knows He will win over death and be with His Father soon..

However, people on earth were blinded... they asked for Pilates to release barrabas and to send Jesus to the cross.. they even VOWED that Jesus' innocent blood should be on them and on their children!! Stupid people!! their children dont even know anything about why Jesus was crucified.. and YET! they already bore the innocent blood =.=;

That's why Jesus says weep for your children... it IS very important that the next generations know who Jesus is, and what he ACTUALLY did on the cross.. important important important!

n ofcoz.. weep for yourself....!! it is important, because christians usually think of themselves as GREAT person.. GOOD person... blablabla and blablabla.... this message is to slap them back to reality... so wad if u know Jesus? who is He to you? who is He in your life????

It is really good for reflection that really.. sometimes we think ourselves as 'better' than 'those other sinners' by comparing stupid things like 'i dun steal.. they steal..' or 'i dun kill... they kill'.. but dont there any crimes in ourselves too? crimes that are no better.. no smaller than stealing or killing...?? what i think in my thoughts when i hate someone... it's already like 'killing' them in my own mind... and then words that i speak.... *sigh*.. u know what? it is no easy business when u say u r a christian.. Especially when u do not behave like one O_o

When people asked me where I come from... ill kinda steadily say 'bandung'.. coz its a fact, n that there's nothing wrong with that place.. but when people ask what r u doing in uni? ill answer 'computer engineering' which would draw obvious surprise from the other party... like 'haa? wow.... i didnt expect...' etc etc... why? maybe becoz there's no conviction from the way i communicate or the way i handle electronic stuff? XD i duno...

Some people (in NTU) were OPENLY surprised when they met me in church.. or when they hear me singing along to their song.. n they say 'eh? koq bisa?' christian meh??' see the singlish part?? it is not an 'ah'.. but 'meh'... which contains more uncertainty isnt it? So it is actually frm the way i behav myself.. i dun look like a christian both in deeds and spiritually.. even though i THINK i dont really speak so crudely like the f word or something.. but.. there are other words which might have been better 'not leave my lips'....

hard hard hard... there are just too many conscious effort to sin.. and conscious effort to seek forgiveness to God;... if i were God.. i would have been tired enough with one 'natalia' XD XD
