Bible passages..

Here are some of the passages that i found interesting XD Yesterday, the passage was taken from deutronomy 22:1.. (which i skipped reading =p) ... it's quite interesting.. so i continued reading the passage after that..

The passage yesterday:

1 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

4 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

Meaning, ga boleh pura2 ga tao... =p .. eniweiz 'ass' means donkey ya! haha.. =p

And the interesting readings afterwards:

5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God

Man... aint i glad im born in this century O_o' haha!

Deutronomy 23:

2 One of illegitimate birth shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

See? salvation was hard those days! n thx to Jesus, EVERYONE can be part of God's family now

15 Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:

19Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

Behold loansharks.. thou shall not exert usury - too much interest (damn chim leh O_o').. from ur brothers... (they DO call each other brothers, dont they?)

21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

KEEP Thy promise to God.... this is serious business!!!!

23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth

Practice what you preach!! (but it aint easy... T.T)

24 When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel

Deutronomy 24:

5 When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.

wah!! 1 year stay at home husband XD... for a year!! mana bisa O_o' ga kerja O_o'

15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.

THOU shall not ngutang XD.. Does anyone know about the case few weeks ago? about this family who owed their indonesian maid few years' of wages?! They're crazy O_o' firstly, if they (as they claim) hav no $, they shouldn't take a maid O_o' stupid ass.. (stupid donkey)

13 Do not have two differing weights in your bag—one heavy, one light.

14 Do not have two differing measures in your house—one large, one small.

15 You must have accurate and honest weights and measures, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

16 For the LORD your God detests anyone who does these things, anyone who deals dishonestly.

See? even since hundreds of years ago... people are already dishonest =.=; How did people learn to be dishonest, btw?
