happy birthday indo!

~17 agustus tahun 45.. itulah hari kemerdekaan kitaaaaa XD~

Happy 63rd bdae indo! ^_^

Went to gpo due to unforseen circumstances.. *i went to the toilet at 9 to pee.. n then i went out again to get my toileteries.. n before i reached my room, venny's room is opened and she's there with her toileteries as well O_o'* so.. ya.. i had to go to gpo mah =p

As expected, almost everyone was wearing traditional costumes.. kebayas, n batiks mostly... the choir guys even wear the javanese hat!! haha.. so cute XD.. the ladies were clad in kebaya tops.. and batik sarongs.. nice leh!!.. eniweiz.. since i was 10 mins late i went to the dunman hall, the extra hall to the left of the church whereby there were alot of parents and kids there.. *so that they dont disrupt the normal services*...

The kids, surprisingly, were ALSO clad in batiks... aih.. i cant say how cute they were!! it's like looking at those japanese kids in yukata... this one they're clad in pretty batik dresses.... and they ran around the halls.. aihhh so cute.... it's good that they have supporting parents.. even though they were screaming and shouting in ENGLISH.. the parents still make sure they don't forget about indo XD mwahaha.. cutiez.. seriously.. =]

The service was very unique *to me*... coz not only they sing songs in the traditional language, they also READ scripture in traditional language XD from moluccas? if i remembered correctly?? it's super cool lor.... i dun even understand a thing from the scripture reading XD *ofcoz we could flip open the bible, but at that point, i was just intrigued to listen to the traditional language* hehee...

The sermon was by Pr. Chandra.. n he too was wearing this shawl clad on his right shoulder.. he said that it was the traditional custom from toraja *if i heard correctly*.. it's a simple shawl given to son in laws on the wedding day.. =] the sermon went pretty normal.. no traditional languages involved XD

THen, the choir was singing in other kind of languages, WITHOUT bringing any musical scores!! two thumbs up to you!! it was easy to spot rita.. n but i was stunned for a moment becoz she, too, was clad in traditional costumes XD.. hehe.. n lastly, the angklung ensemble playing the songs.. it was AWESOME!!! woohooo.... seriously super cool =]

But congii was not wearing batik, leh? O_o everyone else ushering were wearing batik leh XD...
