natsu matsuri.... ^_^v

After 3 years of natsu matsuri, finally.. i can wear yukata!! *gyaaa gyaaa* all thx to Dir-chan XD..



She was kind to lend us (me n nana) her precious yukata... huehuee.. cool eh? she got a plenty! I have my own bakiak (geta) which i bought looonnnggg time ago for some unknown purpose XD..



Eniweiz.. the day starts with rain... rain rain and more rain O_o' finally, i set out to bukit timah at 1.35.. =p under the rain, of course.. i was dressed at minimum, meaning, tank top n shorts and sandal becoz i dowan to die of heat O_o'



Waited for nana at bukit timah plaza... n i bumped to yanto O_o' omigosh.. he still hasnt changed XD XD.... well.. apparently, he's not insurance agent *glare at marlin*......!!!



When nana came, we proceed to dira's v cozy house.... ^_^v 1 yukata was still unironed... and she was quite busy putting up make up XD... anyway.. i really think dira looks like japanese when she wears her hair down O_o'... n then, nana was the first to wear her yukata...



I was busy ironing when i heard nana said 'i cannot breathe'... XD XD... n then, my turn..!!! true enough... dira really tightened the sash at unexpected time and it was really unexpectedly tight!!! 2 sashes u know O_O' one on the waist n one a little higher to tighten the top part of the yukata...



Then the obi came.... I think obi is what makes yukata (or kimono) pretty... n dira was really expert in tying obi XD cool cool cool.. doumo arigatou neeee dira ^_^v....



Eniweiz.. when dira took the geta from the room next door, we had a chance to peek at the other room.. n the room is super cozy!!!! so many manga shelves!! mwahahaha.. i would loooovvveee to sleep there XD XD....



n that's where the garfield cat came XD *dira's huge cat* which, dira claimed just had fur-cut XD.. the cat kept on rubbing on something whenever it walks... walking to the door, rubs on the door.. walking to my feet, rub on my feet XD... eniweiz i think the cat has the look of a bull dog XD XD



Oh.. when it was dira's turn to wear the yukata, she was really apt in wearing it on her own!! n she even added another pretty sash on top of her obi that makes her kimono look really fashionable.. =].. furthermore, she made her hair with a 'konde' tat is just like a japanese XD XD.. n i THINK once she's dressed in yukata, she completely changed XD XD XD... the j-rocker that i know changed into a nice, poised japanese lady... mwahaha...



Finally we were ready to take our leave.. =] it was raining =[ n we had to take bus to clementi and then train to tanah merah and then bus to the japanese school T.T long journey to the east man O_o'



When we were in the mrt, harry *miraculously* found his way to the japanese school.. n he was told that there were no more yukatas for the guys... T.T.. sad lahhhh harryyyy =[



Next was sbass XD... he who said would be late, were there earlier than us, girls XD woopz..



Then, hardi was next.. he didnt want to go to the japanese school alone.. so he waited for us at tanah merah mrt.. n once he saw us, he exclaimed 'pantesan aja lama.. jalannya kayak bgitu' commenting on us, walking on geta XD



Dira met her other friends clad in yukatas.. their yukatas are also pretty and bright.. =] n hardi was walking behind me.. n he commented 'kalian kayak selir2 raja' O_O' geezz..... at least selir are usually pretty, ne? =p



When we finally reached the place, the queue wasnt as bad as last year (or maybe it was - before we came).. n the festival has started ^_^v finally met up with the heartbroken harry and sbass (sbass is not heartbroken lah..).. n since I had to wait for eleta, they all went to queue for food... =]



Fast foward, eleta finally came and i looked for the people queueing for food... okonomiyaki... takoyaki.... *gyaaaa* n i passed by people eating ringo ame... n i wanted to buy one for icha, my church fren XD... but... when i spotted the stall, one guy stick the 'sold out' sticker on ringo ame T.T zannen da naa..... XD



Since the others are queueing for 'heavy' food, me n eleta bought sausage ^_^v this is to reminesence (aiz i duno how to spell this word) of last year (where me, nana n tony could only eat this because the other food were either long queue or sold out XD)!! anyway.. the sausage is nice ... =]



It was very long for us to find a spot to sit... n finally we went upstairs and camped there.. XD sbass brought the mat for us to sit.. n he was 'advertising' before we could all sit down, because it was from his company............ =.=; hehe.... the food wasn't fantastic... to be honest, it wasn't good at all =.=; the rice was cold... the sesame seed on top was not tasty... The salmon is super small... n yes, i could complain alot more.. okonomiyaki was nice lah.. even though it was so small.. too small to be true -.-;



Eleta went down to buy a drink... n it was the ramune soda that tony wanted last year (but sold out)... n she said she asked for 'lemonade' XD n they gave 'ramune' XD well it sounds similar lagh hor... XD The challenge is, to open the soda!!



We read... re-read and re-read the instructions on the bottle to the most detail, n we still could not open it O_o' we took turn to 'try' opening it XD.. n finally it was sbass who could open it.. n it was pretty! ^_^v the soda bottle is designed in such a way that there's a marble glass that 'sealed' the bottle... n in order to open it, we had to use this small 'device' that they provide on the cover and press down the marble glass..



Once the seal is broken, the marble glass would drop in to the bottle.. however, the bottle design (i say again) is very unique, because it has a bottleneck about 3 cm from the opening... and that's where the marble would stay......, n we could drink the soda water... XD



Cool cool... after that, all of us bought our own ramune XD XD XD... n we made a video on HOW to open a ramune XD mwahahahaha...



after that, is mainly walking around n hunting for more food.. haiz.. i wanted takoyaki lah!!!! there's this takoyaki in bandung which (i think) is pretty authentic from the smell of the sauce.. and the garnishing... it was DAMN GOOD..................... unfortunately, it was cream puff who took my attention XD $2 for chocolate hokkaido cream puff..... simply superlicious!!! e-claire was $1 for 3.. see? they're really not expensive at natsu matsuri ^_^ *koq promosi O_o*... as in.. gw kamguan ke natsu matsuri n pay those prices for the 'natsu matsuri feeling' XD after all it's only 1x a year wad..



Met my 2 uni frens oopz.. met 2 of ntu alumni from my batch XD XD.... n too bad, i didnt see our lecturer this year =p



after that, we headed for yoyo!! hehee.. it was pretty troublesome for me lah.. wearing yukata, the floor was wet and there were simply too many people there T.T



But, i managed 2 yoyos this year compared to 0 last year XD gya gya gya XD *bodoh mode*



So... this year we didnt have to worry about 'finishing coupons' XD so we didnt buy any edamame or soramame XD... we basically just wandered around while deciding on joining marlin for hanabi or just bon odori.... i gobbled down one fishy-onigiri while waiting for the decision O_o



oh ya.. while walking around, i saw this very very cute japanese kid... SUPER CUTE!! in green yukata... aih.. XD cant resist XD i took pic with aoi-chan ^_^v but she looked bewiledered in that pic XD XD



Then i saw this 2 kids taking pics with adults.. so I also ask the okasan to take pic with her daughters.. she looked amused and the kids were 'ready' to take pic with any crazy oneesan XD they're naturally cute... *cubit*




After me, there were another big group of oneesans who asked permission to take pic with the 2 kids XD n their mother looked away trying to conceal her laughter XD XD the kids, too, broke out in laughter at one time after looking at each other.. they may be wondering why these people want to take pics with them XD... becoz u r super cute lah!! XD maybe next year they should set up a booth hor... $2 per photo.... whew.. they'll go home few hundred dollars richer XD



Basically, that was all lah.. Bon Odori was at the sports hall... so it wasnt considered bon odori to me T.T.. the sports hall, is something new for me.. i think they close the sports hall the last few years, ne? n it was just like how it is drawn in comics XD XD anyway.. it was smelly XD sweaty.. and humid with few hundred people gather there dancing along to the instructor XD



Ofcourse, there's this little boy who was super hyper... jumping here n there......... n he is CUTE!! big eyes............ *gyaaaaaaaaaa* but but but but but..... when i asked if i could take pic with him, he fleeddddd XD XD XD oh no...... XD he's scared of meeeee XD the mother keep on encouraging him to take pic with 'oneechan'... XD but he refused =p



So, it was finally time to go home..... we took bus to kallang... which, we had to stop opposite of 'gay world' hotel in geylang XD..



When we got down, hardi was commenting 'awas loe nat... tar ditarik2..' n 'itu oom oom di bus uda ngliatin'.... dasar ojiisan O_o"!



It was a pretty long walk... n we walked pass restaurants, and a bar... so ya... i hope our reputation is still good.... XD XD we finally parted at kallang XD too bad the mr bean rice ball was sold out last night... *geez i now have a craving for that O_O*... =p



It was a safe journey back home... i didnt meet a single soul while taking the lift up... and there was no one ... no one was in the living room when i reached home XD



Undressing was pretty hard XD... but i managed because i could not take it no more... O_o the sash was killing me O_O' n true enough, after i took out the sash, it left 2 red marks circling my body XD.........
