life

One of my boss' dad passed away.... n well.. at first all of us just gave $ to our social in charge for him to pass the $ to our boss...



Then my colleague was saying that she wanted to go.. n I remembered, my dad saying that the best time you want to show respect to someone is when they are in deep mourn.... (either to the family of the person or just to pay the last respect, whichever it is, this is the time..) and not during those happy times (weddings, etc.).. N i thought.. i wouldnt have time u see... my cousin and my cutie nephews were due to come today n i only have 2 DAYS with them... but then.. i 'overheard' one of my bosses telling the other bosses that they should be going lah...



So.. i decided to go also lor... and so.. my boss' place is quite near palm gardens there :s hahaa.. so ya.. was having de javu feeling when taking the train.. it just felt like those internship days when i counted the number of stations to reach home.. XD



Oh nyway,... actually i met one of my seniors this morning at the pantry.. he went to the wake the day before... n he told me that my boss looked Ok but 'Not fit to work'..... n i was asking whether his dad's passing was sudden... n yuph, it was.....



The family were on tour.. n his dad apparently worked out at the gym.. n suddenly he collapsed... by the time my boss came over to hospital, his dad had no pulse already T__________T.... can you imagine? when i was in the pantry tis morning, i felt very very sad for him........!!!!



N my senior said that my boss told everyone who came the day before 'u know.. sunday is fathers day... go out with ur father.. make him happy..'....... wah.... v sad for him lehhh!!!



Nyway.. I AM going back this weekend to celebrate father's day ^_^v i told my 2 siblings but so far.. no answer from them leh :s haha...



So.. ya.. went to the wake with my colleague.. and met an ex colleague.. my boss seemed to be in a better shape than my senior's description la.. but still.. he seemed v sad..... i never seen him like this before.... n he was saying that don't wait till last minute to tell your father of the Good News *by this, he meant Jesus Christ Salvation*... let me stress this.. he is a christian, but he doesnt really go like goody goody christian at work.. he does what he has to do.. he has his tempers, he does things his own ways, but deep down, he is christian and he did his job by spreading the Word to his dad.. but well.. he said that he has faith that his father has accepted the salvation.. *good for you boss*!



Then.. he also said the same thing to us 'cherish ur dad!' ....... =] so guys and gals... please make time to make a simple, short phone call to say 'HAPPY FATHERS DAY!! Im very thankful, grateful, super happy to be ur kiddo'....... promise?? wherever u are.. just drop him a message.. kayz?! niteyzzzz
