a night at jepara

We reached jepara at 9, and we ate lesehan at some street-side kiosk selling ikan laut… (ocean fish? :p) the place is typical indo street-side lesehan…. Dirty and lotza flies……………. Turn down our appetite! But the grilled fish was yummy! Well we all ate with one hand n another waving up-down left-right here n there to wave away the flies -_-‘ the groom’s father ate like it was the nicest food on earth… as he told us, the fish are fresh… I said It was nice, but not to the extent so very divinely nice as my uncle expressed it… hahaha *imagining his face I would still laugh!!!!*

Then we went to the groom’s house… saw their room which decorated with jati-wood and only the bedcover was baby blue….. after arguing here n there, ii anyun said that the four guys, k haw2, k kiat2, samuel n his fren will sleep there, n the rest of us sleep at her house…. But that uncle again…… he said he wanna take bath first… n was angry when we all said we’re going to that house n bathe there.. he said that house wun hv enuff water by night……….. ooow…….. so a few of us stayed, most of them went to the house following my aunt… we used 3 bath rooms….. one for my uncle, 2 for us to share…. U know what??? 4 of us used a bathroom, another 2 used 1 bathroom, done, refreshed n ready to sleep… n my uncle still hvnt finished -_-‘

So we congregate in an air-conditioned room and listened to Samuel’s fren, Ferry telling stories about his hometown at balikpapan… told stories about the dayaks, which famous for the cults n magics they could do.. he said that dayaks are darn pretty n white! Amazingly white! I didn’t know that dayaks are white! ^_^ he told us about how the maduras are bad guys and alwiz ‘richer’ becoz maduras illegally chopped down the timbres and sent it overseas or to other islands… n when maduras hurt/offend dayaks, the dayak could literally send a parang or piring to find that particular madura guy, and juz sliced his throat… but clurit is different… it can be controlled as long as it’s still in borneo island… *phew* lucky im not from there……… he also told us that the best food theree… erh,…. Pork, put inside a container, n buried in the ground for about 2 weeks.. when u dig it out, …. Hehehe that’s the best lor…. Yupz.. with the maggots …….. *yuckz!* but I guess different place would have different preferences………. Stil…. *yuck* hehehe

We got back to the main house, n finally took our peaceful sleep…. I fell into a deep sleep until morning.. my mum worse! She didn’t wake up until I woke her up! It was 8.30 liao.. (I know for moz of us it’s still considered ‘early’ but to the indos….. itz AFTERNOON liao….) ehehehe… luckily the driver, k haw2 oso still sleeping at the other house… so we ate gudeg for breakfast, everyone paid a visit to the groom’s aunt (the matchmaker) then to their cousin which stayed beside ii anyun… THIS alone took a few hours… by the time they came back it was 12++ it was also becoz the groom asked k haw2 to fetch him at semarang then send him back to jepara…. *bumper* we dun want that… so we all said we’ll go to semarang…’soon’…. After buying some jepara-traditional food for ‘oleh2’, got some new nice watches from ii anyun’s shop, finally we said our final goodbye………. It was 230 -_-‘ we skipped lunch again -_-‘

After reaching semarang. K kris brought us to this fish-farm (isit wad u call it? peternakan ikan) :p … but they only have bandeng fish n kangkong -_-‘ so k haw2 said he’d rather eat at ‘kampong laut’ coz he met the manager once when visiting karimun n the manager made him drooooolllzzz…. True enuff, when we reached kampong laut, it was a very very pretty picturesque! It was vast, neat and neatly decorated… the restaurant was above the sea, n the ‘sea’ below was full of fishes…… while on the other side of the restaurant is the pemancingan… where all the guys in our group got hooked… they could rent a line n hook n fish there.. all the fish available was bandeng… after the hearty dinner the guys still didn’t wanna go home (including my uncle leh!!! His train will leave at 830pm!) finally they reluctantly gave back the fishing equipment due to time constraint… our journey back home starts again at 8.00pm……… due to heavy rain, we reached bandung at 4.00am…. this time the journey is more tiring…. Coz of the rain, k haw2 had to drive somehow more careful but cannot be too slow… it made the car jumped n jumped n jumped -_-‘ but we all reached our home save n sound… ^_^ so much for a journey……………………
