HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

hAppY MoTHeR'z dAY!!!!!

n pentacost day XD XD well.. to tell u the truth... i forgot that today is pentacost day *oopz*...... well.. its the end of the first week of holiday... n i have not started packing at all O_o..... i kinda have this weird feeling to 'pack' my stuff... coz it really feels like its the end of the happy go lucky days of schooling =p..

Eniweiz.. lets tok abt mother's day first... hehee... as usual, churches around the world usually celebrate today as mother's day.... n today, in IEC, the rev reminded us once again to love thy mothers.... n he encouraged all of us, who still have mothers to call and say 'mum i love u'... n maybe he saw few heads nodding.. n his next comment was "awas loe yakh klu ga telpon! dosa loch klu boong..." XDXD.... n well.. he also said about us, kids, who ALWAYS think that we're way smarter than our parents....... well.. think again... do u think u 'll get this "SMART" if ur parents didnt painstakingly put u thru education system? i personally remember the times where i really like to do colouring instead of working on my alphabet writings XD XD... I used to get scolded ALOT... O_o' well... if it weren't for that endurance scolding me n making me DO wad i didnt want to do.... i would not even be here, isnt it?

For the "mothers's day celebration", they have a few items.. the ballet dance by 6 girls, singing 'Bunda' by melly goeslaw by Shierly, and lastly, giving flowers to mothers by the kids.. it wasn't too emotional up to this part..

N then.. Eunice n Jo came forward to give a short speech for their mum in their super cool english accent... Eunice said that there are 2 kinds of mothers.. 'kissing' mothers and 'scolding' mothers.. n that she's greatful that her mum is a mix of both... XD XD n I especially like Jo's speech.. it was really honest.. XD saying that in their family, it was a tradition to "correct mum's grammar" XD n he also went on saying that he also acknowledge it was HIS MUM who first taught him english.... when these two gave their speech, i felt they're soooo sweet.... =] its not like those 'scripted' speech *they do hold a piece of paper containing their speech.. but its THEIRS, u see.. *.... I could not help but steal a few glances to tante shanta... n i saw her covering her face.... *must be crying eh?*.... he also said that his mum is the one who is always be there for him to make him go the extra mile which he might not even know is possible.... I agree with Jo =] my mum (AND DAD!) are the ones who silently *or not so silently* support me in the background... always have faith in me, even though i know im not good enough... n yea... thx for reminding me, Jo! *pats... good job, Jo!*

Back to the preaching....
At the beginning of the preaching, he talked about the story of a zoo, employing people to pretend to be 'monkey'... wearing the monkey costume n act like monkey.. n then this poor 'monkey' somehow landed across the 'monkey' area which happened to be the lion's den... n he shouted profusely... n the lion said "dun scream!! We will lose our job!"... XD the story relates to people coming to churches wearing masks and pretending.... which i think, sadly, im one of them who always put up the front as 'everything is fine'... well eniweiz... really really must pray before u come to church, that we go to worship as who we are.... no pretense.. no masks... only me n God..

At the end of his sermon, he prayed for me, who once AGAIN say to God that i want to work in His field again.... help me be true to my word, Lord.. strengthen me n give me enough courage and endurance to 'sacrifice' time and effort and energy for you...
