Happy halloween!!

Im not sure whether or not we should say 'hi there! may u have a happy halloween this year' *or something along that line..* but yea... im just saying it for the sake of it hehe...

Halloween this year is abit special, coz it falls on saturday yea!!! =] and yuph, we were planning a B I G event for a friend whom impending wedding day is loominnnnggg... *to be honest, im not even sure whether im saying grammatically correct english... or wadsoever, but u get the idea, right?*.... for some reason, the bride-to-be just 'REFUSED' to cooperate... knowingly, or unknowingly, she became quite difficult to comprehend and we felt like she is having a PMS.. no no no.. not the usually monthly PMS thingy.. but it's the Pre-Marital Syndrome, which, of course, none of us would understand since she's the first to trade her soul for a single ring... but yea..

Maybe she has her reasons not to meet up with us.. maybe she really does something else to do during her 'last few days' in Singapore... maybe... maybe.. and maybeeesss...... oh well..... but we were just putting our hopes high enough to think that she'll be lured by the topic "Halloween party" in clarkQ... but of course, once again, her will and mind defeated our united wills and minds... surprisingly, she just kept on refusing to meet up with us... XD

*Updated on Sunday 1 nov 09* she actually went up to Malacca..... so ya.. our plan is thrashed, dashed, and ya.. hopeless!

So anyway,.. back to the Halloween title, some of us were still putting up high hopes and so, after paying deposit for my ロックン (rokkun aka 6) and del bought her tortoise laptop bag.., eventually the small group quietly made our way to clarke quay, where, we wanted the surprise to take place...

Before we reached liang court, the rain sudenly became too heavy for us to even cross the road.. and due to my new crocs shoes and well, we just dont want to get drenched, we detoured around the umbrellized clarkequay.. u know what i mean.. that stretch of pubs and bars along the Singapore river... yeaipz.. they'r so hyped up.. all put up halloween decorations and at the center stage, some ang-moh band was practicing... so we leisurely took our time taking pics of each and every bars *and some of the early birds who were already in full costumes at 5pm..*!! afterward, since it's also pointless for us to be there as we were not dressed for the festival, we made our way to liang court.. and spent time for dinner there.. when we were about to go home, we wanted to 'check out' the halloween party.. and to my surprise, it was REALLY a festival out there.. haha! thinking back, for these past 10 years, I have NOT really gone out to 'celebrate' halloween before.. hehee.. there was once or 2x where I was caught by surprise to see many people walking around in weird costumes, which, happened to be halloween day.. but that's all... nothing compared to the full blast festival we were caught in last night.. =]

People really came in their weirdest fantasy...! some came in traditional costumes, imperial costume, roman empire costume, and of course, the usual vampire, witches and sexy nurses attire... Kho n Del was fascinated by the devil ear's hairband that in the end, we kinda made our way to find the seller XD.... Del estimated the price to be $5.. and true enough, it was $5 XD... n suddenly qkho was like 'if we buy 5 how much?' i was like 'HEH? everyone is buying also meh? sbass and harry?' *i was also not v much keen to buy lah*.... the seller quickly said '$20'... so it's $1 discount for every piece.. weeeheee.... cant resist 20% discounts n.n; we ended up buying 1 each XD..

So ya.. at least we were kinda 'participate' in the festival, right? hehe.. so we again, toured the umbrellized clarke quay.. to the point that we saw the looooooooonnnngggg queue into clubs.. and noted more and more weird costume.. like doctor outfit with the stetoscope (how to spell ah?!) and the bloddied operating theatre outfit...., knife-cutting-through-ur-head, hospitalized patienets.. and a group of malays wearing a 'police' costume but with short pants plus the sunglassess.... then... the chinese' shinigami that has super long red coloured tongue.. *creeps!*!!!! and one guy came as a table.. ya.. table..... haha.. around his head was a box.. and his head was bloody.. when he sat down, he became a table.. and thus, a bloodied human head served on a table.... *creepz* but yuph, 100% for his idea =-]!

What makes me amazed was the granmas who came to the party!! weeheeeee u rawks!! =']! they even wore the devil headband leh! hehee.... and of course, the mothers who brings their kids to the blasted festival XD... the kids were dressed in witch costumes and they brought jack o lantern as their 'handbags' XD.... one kid was dressed as an angel.. he/she was being carried by the mother who, in contrast, wore witch costume... nyahnyahnyahnyahnyah!! i like her style!! weehee stylo mother! XD... but the kid also cool leh.. i think when i was his/her age, I would have preferred the comfort of my bed and pillow instead of being outside listening to some rock songs and many many bloodied people around me... :S geez.. kudos guys!

then... we spotted cross dresser! hehe.. i like the angmoh couple who swapped roles =p hehe.. the gents were wearing sundress (but qkho said it wasnt sundress..but anyway!) that is long enough to cover their knees.. while while their ladies wore a suit =p hihi.. the lady was possessively holding the gent's waists, looking so manly while they also paraded along clarkequay... 10thumbs up for the guys!!

We also spotted people with wrong costumes.. such as kimono... hm.. so we came up with some dry joke like saying 'is that a person wearing kimono? she is a tourist dropping by? or she came dressed in kimono for the festival?' ... then we have a group of koreans wearing chinese traditional costume (jiang yi)... which we also witnessed them getting kisses from a group of angmohs XD.. super cute XD.... another weird one was julius caesar... anddd.. the guy with disco bulb... well anyway, bottom of the story, it was a fun halloween... =-] we ended up taking the last train home... geez.... XD and the story about our dear friend having PMS was kinda 'forgotten'... for a while... when it all came back again when each one of us brought up the topic.. like 'coba klu dia hari ini ketemu kita.. bakalan seru yakh!' yuph, our surprise plan was made in such a way, that she will have this memory before her wedding.... but well..... she has a mind of her own.... so.... nw.. it's just tme to sleeepp..... nitey!!!!!!!!!!
