Okiez.. after the sad state that i failed the placement test on school B, this morning i made up my mind that even so, i need to keep on taking classes! otherwise my japanese is just gona rot and die =.=; sooooo i woke up early, get my butt to the school B... and suddenly, i remembered that i dun have any IC O_o'! *just FYI, im starting to contribute to the erhm.. 'savings' in Singapore term starting on monday*.. so ya.. i didnt have any IC.. how to register XD didnt even bring my passport along with me..

so... haha.. i was super early to meet my NTU cliques.. so well... i had nothing to lose, right? I went to Tony's school... school I.... *i duno why i bother to mask off the school names, but nvm lah hor..* so... i went there and whew.. it was a different school environment altogether =p

It was full aircon, carpeted, nice and airy.... the receptionists have a large.. no.. HUGE reception tables with soooo many clipboards for attendances... whew.. and i saw some 'common' area for students to 'study' before they classes.. or simply 'kiasu-ing' there... and well.. sofas... and whadevaaa..

So.. ya.. i asked the receptionist how to register.. and she asked the 'background checks' on whether i hav taken japanese before, where have i learnt till... etc etc.. and she said 'would u mind waiting for a while? ill get the sensei to talk to you'... n i was like 'WHAT? o_O noww??' but ofcoz, i looked super confident from outward *i hope*..

I took a seat *fidgeting all the while* for the sensei to appear... and one erhm.. otoko sensei walked passed... wheew... some eye candy they have =p =p =p =p =p

The placement test sensei is very very very friendlya and bubbly, she's native Japanese btw, who looks typically japanese =p n she was speaking in those cutesy japanese tone and kind of ending everything with 'sou sou?' and 'sou ne...' and many many funny actions along the way *maybe to make me understand what she's trying to say! duh!*

"The placement test" was like an interview in the beginning XD... she asked something like these:

- hajimemashitee.... and ended with yoroshiku onegaishimaaasssuu (testing ur basic greetings?)
- nataria san wa, kaishain desuka?
- oshigoto wa nandesuka?
- aaa... IT desukaaa... jya conputa no koto wa, yoku dekimasukaaa? (in a very japanesey tone XD)
- etoo doushite nihongo o benkyoushimasuka? (testing ur 'reasoning'?)
- Nihon e itta koto ga, arimasuka? (testing ur 'tenses?')
- Nihon ni tsuite, nani ga suki desuka?
- JLPT no koto wa (blablablabla which, i presumed, she is asking whether i have taken jlpt before.. so i said never)
- Kotoshi, jlpt wa lablaball desuka? (again, i presumed, she's asking whether im planning to take jlpt this year XD.. so i sad no.. XD)
- EEE? douuuushitteeee??? XDXDXDXD (okay.. i shot myself in the foot so i had to explainnnn to her that i cannot go becoz my fren is getting married on that day... so dengan terbata2, i had to explain to her................. which, was quite embarassing for me XD)

Sooooo the placement test began... she opened up the 'minna no nihongo I' and flipped through the 'te-form'... asked me to read a few things and answer a few things... and 'nai-form'... again, the same thing... so anyway, she said 'o-keh! yoku dekimasu yo!'... *WEEEEEEEHEEEE*

Next, she flipped through 'minna no nihongo II'.... eto... 'n-desu' form.. which, i kinda 'kira2 tau.. but i actually dont know the real meaning'... so, i think better be honest with her XD.. i told her 'mada benykoushimasen'... so she said 'ano.. kore wa, dorama de, anime de, takusan blabalalbalala' which i presumed, many dorama n anime ngomongnya pake 'ndesu'... like 'ikundesuka?'... means ada 'curiosity' feeling in there... i was like 'oh... soooo' =p

After that, she flipped through and it was the 'potential' form... so.... ya, it confirmed that, my previous class' curriculum (in school H) is actually... erhm..abit different ne ...... :(....... it skipped 1 lesson!!! and actually skipped even further!! our last lesson was 'speaking in honorific form!', which i kinda 'picked up' while i watched 'TRICK' coz one of the session was about 'misunderstanding' an honorific word... and anyway, in the minna no nihongo II, the next lesson after 'potential form' was about 'nagara' if im not wrong...!!

I dont understand why the previous school (H) must use different 'curriculum' which,,... is not needed......... anyway, again, I said i havent learnt this before.. and again, she explained to me in a very expressive way that nagara means 2 actions at the same time..... and hai.. yoku wakarimashita sensei =] arigatou gozaimasu!

so... that's how the 'placement' test ended =p she helped me to check the class that she can slot me in.. and she quickly came back to me saying 'sorry for making you wait...' 'omachi ni blablala gomene?' XD i duno mannn =p but as i said, it was a miracle (a happy thing for me) that somehow i can understand what she's saying.. not 100%, tonikaku, ureshikatta!

Oh.. then she was like 'yokattane!! Just nice..' tomorrow u can join the class... XD XD XD XD XD XD XD so.. ya.. it was a surprised =p but again, i dont mind =p so ya.. im going for the new class tomorrow.....!! yattttaaaaaaaa XD hontou ni, arigatou gozaimashita sensei!!!! =]

After the 6 lessons here, ill try out at school B again =p wakakak!! coz school B is cheaper u know =.=; $80 difference desuyooo T____T

Nana: im starting with minna no nihongo lesson 26 only leh XD matte kudasai yoo!! eh.. no... hayaku benkyoushite kudasai!! im running after you XD... ganbatte ne!
