out of my mind... XD

yoz.. back.. with big bang news..... geez..



Let's start it off with a sad story... Del lost her omnia phone last Sundae... n well, she tried her best to look for the phone on the rubbish bin and stuff.. but to no avail.. so ya.. she needed a new phone, right?



so.. she was looking for new phone on Monday (she used my nokia 3650 for those of u who still remembered it XD... the big phone who was loyal to me for more than 4 years *winkz*.. oh ya.. she said it took her 5 minutes to draft an sms wakakaka!).. anihoo... she 'shopped' for phone.. and somehow, Harry and her was monitoring some forums for gadgets...



On Tuesday, Del was saying that she wanted to buy 2nd hand phone *i forgot what brand* that she found from the forum.. and at the same time Harry told me thru msn that he is going to buy new phone *from the forum also*... so yea.. we were all waiting at home for Harry and his new phone.... weheee...



After that, Del was *again* researching on more and more phones and asking the whole kampong community on what to buy phone... I myself cannot give opinion, as I am still loyal with my white do-pod... and anyway, i dun feel the need to buy new phone.. and anyway, I still have a whole lot of things that I want to buy XD.. phone is kind of the 'last priority' lah hor...



*side track*.... my baby fuu was sick since few weeks ago.. and I thought it's irrecoverable and I would need to get new laptop this coming IT show... but thank God, I called the service centre and they said that the harddisk failed... when i told people about it, everyone asks 'HUH? THEN? data how??'.. hahaa.. thank God, being ME, i got alot of external HD XD and yuph, my data are safe.. fuu-chan is only holding the source code from the FYP time which is.... well... u can say it's one of my "dont-need-but-no-heart-to-throw-away" thing XD... but anyway, so... somehow i kind feel that i can safe about $1K =p



Next, my new Japanese class *ill blog later* requires me.. as in.. REQUIRES me in a way that it MANDATES me to buy a recording gadgets... i dont want to buy those old recorder type like those newscasters use to 'interview' people on the street..... geez.. I remembered people saying that iPOD can be used to record... so anyway, I threw the question to the 2 gadget freaks in my house... and yuph, back to the topic 2 paragraphs above,...



Del was researching abt her phone, and her brothers 'adviced' her to get NEW phone.. not second hand phone.. one bro even suggested iPhone XD.... and so, she googled iPhone... blablablaa.. and found one article about US univ mandated their freshmen to either have an iPhone or an iPod touch for lectures, to RECORD the lecture and thus, they can repeat the lectures at home *yea right!*...



So, it gave me the idea.. =] not bad lah.. abt $400, u can get new gadget, use it to record lectures, play games, have japanese dictionary, etc. etc. etc.... so ya.. i slept with the idea of buying it... =] WITHOUT even touching it before.. XD maybe ive touched it somewhere but it was really a vague thing.. i didnt even know what im touching *i guess*...



Wednesday, Harry wanted to get the GST claim for his new phone *SINCE NOW DEL IS IN TOWN and SHE IS A TOURIST YEA!!* XD... so... i told him ill follow him to far east plaza =p Since he knocks off the latest, I met Del at Shaw and told her that i wanna go to wheelock place to check out the iPod touch... and she was teasing 'cieee mu beliiii' XD.. so... it was the first time I touched it.. WITH the intent to buy.... at the next IT show.. and of course, claiming GST when Del go back indo =p haha!



Thennnn harry came and we went to far east plaza... too bad, he could not claim the GST... :( Anyway, Del has decided that she's gonna buy the new HTC diamond 2... and sooo... she was curious about the price at those retail shops... soooo we went around to 3 'obvious' stores on that store.. with an intent to ask arnd... and since iPod touch was there too, I was also 'ikut2an' asking around... u know what... they sell at a much cheaper price than apple does.. =p haha.. n they said that they have 'no more stock left'... fine.. O_o'



We were about to go out of Far East plaza for dinner and saw 1 more shop, which is smaller and well, to my humble opinion, the seller is abit 'beng'... and u know what... he entertained our bargain and apparently he knows how to sell things.. as in, when we bargain, he wasnt angry, and stuff.. and for the iPod touch, it was cheaper by $5 than the previous store...



Thanx to Del's bargaining power, she was able to push down the price.. and since he pushed down HER price, i told him to push down my price too =p unknowingly, we have bargained for.... more than a 'price-checker' should do... and maybe due to the pressure that the fact Del doesnt have a phone and the seller told her that he has checked a few stores and they didnt have it,....... somehow were were hypnotized to buy it...



Yup, that's it.. we each (har,del and me) own a new gadget...... gyabooo XD



I bought the iPod touch less than 24 hours since I heard the 'reason to buy' XD..... anyway, i was just saying in passing to him... 'eh.. u have to remember my face hor..' *in case i wanna buy more things =p*... and his reply was 'Oh.. dont worry..... i S U R E will remember your face one... I see you i'll run inside'... XD XD XD idiot XD.... it was Del who bargained wadddd XD ok lah.. i also bargained to the point 'u dont have to give me plastic bag lagh.. reduce $0.20 hor!' XD....

Anyway, to welcome my new baby =] ive given a name to it =p namanya ポターち (Pota-chi)... it's taken from iPODTOUCH -> Po-ta.... and chi.. is the way you call nickname as in 'inoCHI'... 'izakiCHI',... gituw lah.. undestando? hai... yoroshiku onegaishimasuu =]
