I attended this x’mas church service at GBI… my granma n my uncle’s church… it is a charismatic church… hehe so funny… when the pastor was praying, if he said something worth clapping for, they’d really clap! Hehe in my church, the congregation would only nod to themselves and say ‘amen’ or ‘yes lord, thank you’ something like that…. By the by.. the pastor was an ex-alcoholic.. his past was chaos.. however, after he received Jesus, his life has changed, and now he’s serving Him actively.. the theme of the xmas service is Jesus Christ the light of the world… he was saying that since we are the children of light, the light is in us, n everyone who sees us will see the light and feel them…. When we are children of light, our ‘enemies’ would bow down to our God, even their gods and kings too, their wealth would be ours and 1 more I 4got leh….. :p *doeih nata dodol!* hm.. wel… charismatic church is like that.. :D well, I dun beliv that when u follow Jesus, u’d definitely reign and gain personal wealth.. NO! God has His own plan for each n everyone of us… some of us are blessed with wealth itz for us to show the world what God has done to u and rejoice in it.. while some has financial difficulties… itz not that God is bias or what… simply that he is giving you trials… in trials, when you could endure it, ur prize is much more greater, and you would rejoice in it too ^_^

Their musical drama was kinda typical but not so typical… it was about a different bunch of people.. the poor, the rejected, and the prostitutes… these people are being told the story about the saviour that’s born on xmas day… the typicality is that everyone in the end comes to church, but the not so typical is that… one person (the rejected one), she’s a teenager whose parents are divorcing soon… when she confided in her friends her friend offered her drugs and alcohols…. *usually she’d take the alcohol?* nopez.. she didn’t take the alcohol.. in turn, she went under the bridge to mingle around with the poor and share her sad story with them…. Then one guy came and told about the story of x’mas.. about how Jesus was born, almost killed by herode’s quest, how he saved the blind, the rejected and how he was crucified for our sins… and how he rose again on the 3rd day and that he WILL come again….. soon…

Y is the story of xmas alwiz told only on xmas day??? I particularly like the story of a baby born and placed in a manger in a silent night… no one knows who he is… no one actually knows that the greatest SAVIOUR finally came to earth to salvage those who comes seeking for him……… *oohhh :D* Well2… more stories about xmas some other day! after all.. thisssssssssss the season to be jolly falalallalalalalalalallalalaaaaaaaaaaaaa ^_^
