thx be to God...

bleh.. im a week late to post that title.. :p yea.. that's the sermon's title LAST week.. not yesterday's... :p but from wad we got yesterday, i feel that I hav to say these words over n over again... thx be to God... for He is good.. for He is caring, for He does not leave us for He is one and Holy, for He is powerful and He is a nurturing God.. ^_^

know why?? becoz He did not let me get angry for too long.. He made marlin got the idea of that prayer meeting.. when is the last time i attend prayer meeting?? 100 years ago O_o'...!! He also made sbass came to be the prayer leader... He also made nana *whose paper is tomorrow* come to our house... we were all seeking for guidance and comfort from Him... n He did... let'z all say: thx be to God...

i guess the prayers helped..... since the morning, in church, we were singing some songs that somehow made me er... not forget.. but ease-ing my thoughts.... ofcoz yesterday im in a much calmer state oredi... O_o'! my granma n 2 aunties, jordan mark n their parents are holidaying in Jakarta n dun seem to be in a state of alarm/emergency at all... so IF they have that kind of peace state... why cant I,... rite? they definitly in a more 'danger zone' that i am... but i think they also know that He will never leave us alone... so i guess there's assurance-reaffirm for these 3 days... ^_^

yesterday's sermon is AGAIN about faith... this time is about the creation of the world.. why so many believes different things? he started with reading Hebrews 11 : 1-3... but he wandered to the previous n later verses.... so anyway... this 3 passages only told us about people from the past, whom by faith believed in God, did wad He asked them to do, n gained from it.. Abraham, Noah, etc... this God they believed in, is also God of the future.. He'd promised to bring us to His kingdom of heaven..... *tat'z 1... to have faith that our God is God of the past, n God of the future.. alpha n omega..*

then next, is about the creator.. y sometimes we dun believe that God is the maker of heaven n earth?? some chinese mythology.. some evolution theory.. *er.. i think i said it yesterday but the word shouldnt be evolution agh... wadz the word again? =_="*... some worshipped sun moon or stars *astrology* =p...

if we read from genesis, God separated light n darkness.. n bigger light to govern the day, the weaker one to govern the nite.. called it day n nite.. didnt even give it a NAME... o_O'! so y of all things, we should worship these sun n moon? they're juz CREATION of God...... make sense? so wadz about astrology? i admit i read it almost everyday *when i read life section, i definitely will read the astrology* huehuehuheuheuehue ofcoz i dun remember wad they say about wad i should do today blablabla.. i juz read.... then when they say 'u r blablablaa' *good thing*, then i'll approve... =p if not then i dun remember of it.. discard.. delete.... throw away.. O_o'!

er... he also said about science, they believed that earth was nothingness, then becoz of the lightning thunder *wadsoever.. I dun quite get it when he talked about cells O_o'*, cells were formed.. then cells *being the simplest of all things* evolved n u know, earth is created.. after some million years.... for this, he said the mousetrap thing.. *some of u heard it yesterday*, for a mousetrap to work, we need ALL parts.. the spring the latch the cage the bait.. but even after all the parts are there, we put it in a box, shake it for some million years, who would guarantee that it'd come out as a mousetrap?? for anyone who says yes, the answer is "wow.. it takes a loadz of faith!!"...... so same as those who propose that earth was form from nothingness, created through some electrocution of lightning *thunder wadsoever =_=*... it must take a loadza faith..... something else he brought up, about intelligent designer *ogh.. the preacher is a theological college's lecturer.. so his style is quite lecturer-type.. =;p giving all evidences..* that some people BELIEVES tat the earth is not just created accidentally.. becoz the simplest of all *ie cell* is so complex... ok.. from this part im quite blur.. he said simplest cell needs to have nucleus.. er.. stem.. nvm.. i forgot oredi O_o'! so he said that itz impossible that this earth is created accidentally.... but i wonder why they dun get the answer straight.. itz GODDDD aiyos.. O_o'! so bodoh... O_o'! i mean for scientists quite hard for them to admit there's God.. okay... but for these people? their answer is staring back at them O_o'! towew......

ok nvm.. the thing is.. we just believe that God is GOd of the past n future.. okay?! n by His words, this whole earth is created...... okay?!

uhm.. the evening session would be talking about homosexuality actually...... here's the outline for those interested....

The problem with homosexual behaviour
- against god's creatioinal design *gen2 : 18-25 women made of men's ribs* n *rom 1:18-27* his passage *after reading* is about humans who act against or ignore God.. the title of this passage is God's wrath against mankind... so, God "...gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way,the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.. (v26-27).."

so homosexuals will get penalty.......

- it excludes people from the kingdom of God, just like adultery, greed, drunkenness, idolatry etc (1 cor6:9-11)
cant enter kingdom of God.......

The solution to homosexual behaviour
- reconnecting to God through the gospel, forgiven by Jesus, and changed by his indwelling spirit (1 cor 6:11)

Hard questions about homosexuality
- orientation and behaviour
- made that way, trained that way or chose that way?
- homosexual churches?

*too bad we werent there... no answers given... =p!*

A word to those involved:
- To family and friends (John 8:7) "if anyone of u is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.."

*this passage is about a woman, caught in the act while committing adultery, n they asked Jesus if they should throw stone at her... tat is wad Jesus' answer to them*

- to homosexuals (John 8:11) "Then neither do I condemn you.. Jesus declared. God now and leave your life of sin"
should turn back to Normal....

Too bad that 3 questions hav no answers =_=' well... my fren is so scared that she's cursed n cant go to heaven... is it cursed?? is it chosen that way? or trained tat way? according to her, she's like that since she was young... so should be chosen or cursed... but im so very sure that itz not cursed... so is it the pre-destination theory again? that everyone is chosen to be something from the very beginning?? arghh!! so many things to think about... O_o'!!! nvm.. exam first... +_+'

exam exam exam exam O_o'! all d bez to nana... whose exam is tomorrow... jia youuuuuuuuu remember the verse yesterday: "so do not throw away your confidence. It will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised" Hebrews 10:35-37....!!!

O_o' i think itz NOT about the muslims.. itz about those individuals who influenced others to do bad things.. i dun think any religions is bad... as ive said before, it is our minds that is too far from perfection that we cant have peace with each other.. we cant practice what's preached......... tatz too sad isnt it?? *pat2* dun woriez... ^_^
